Broadway Actor Sites! The good, the bad, and the ugly.

What are some of the best websites out there for your favorite Broadway stars, whether they be "official" or not?
I think Kerry Butler's website (kerrybutler.net) is very well done. In fact, Craig created it, and I think its full of a lot of great things. One of the best parts is the "Just For Fans" sections which offers video clips and sound clips, as well as a backstage video during Hairspray. Plus there's a lot of information from Kerry herself.
What are some of the other quality websites out there for the Broadway actors?

yea I like Kerrys it's very well put togetehre and easy to find and know what your looking at lol if that makes sence. Suttons Fosters is nice alos.
Now Marissa Jaret Wanorkers on the other hand pisses me off because it still has latest news as her filming in taront to for a movie that has been aired played to death and moved on to ABC Family heaven already. Stuff like that just annoys me (and I'm not saying it's anyones fault)it just bugs me. But other then that it's not bad a little boring but I like all the magazine articals.

The good: Sutton Foster's, though it would look more professional if it were on its own domain. Jessica Grové's would be nice if her pictures had captions and if half the pages didn't say "coming soon" for months on end. The nice layout and color palette makes up for it, though.
The bad: see below.
The ugly: Randal-Keith.com. It's a Geocities template, there's scrolling text, there are typos and errors EVERYwhere. It's a mess. Randal is an amazing performer; the fact that his site looks so bad makes it even more tragic!

Posted: 12/30/03 at 10:46amOh yeah, I forgot about Sutton Foster's website. That was is also very nice and full of stuff. I like the fan photos page with all the pictures of her with her fans. Lol, I just noticed today while looking at it that "WhatDoINeedWithLove" is on there at least twice with her. Go on with your bad self!

Posted: 12/30/03 at 11:51amI really like Idina's website, idina.com. It's quite nice, and very well organized. There's all these things to read, especially Idina's biography done by Idina, which is quite cute to read.

Posted: 12/30/03 at 4:27pmIdina's website will be nice someday, but right now there's not much to it.

That's not always a good thing.

Posted: 12/31/03 at 12:18amI like how a lot of the ensemble people on Broadway have more websites than the principles do.

Posted: 1/2/04 at 12:51pmJust because someone is on Broadway doesn't mean they are horrible at making web pages. You never know. People are multi-talented. What exactly were you getting at with that post?

Posted: 1/2/04 at 2:25pmI'm a great fan of Midnight Dreaming (http://www.shawlerwebdesign.com/aw/anthony.html) for Anthony Warlow information. It's not the most well designed site, but it has tons of information on this amazing singer. www.anthonywarlow.com/au is his official site and is more recent.

Posted: 1/2/04 at 2:37pmI was referring to Musetta1957's post. sorry. I was wondering if she was referring to the fact that she didn't think Broadway stars could be good at making a website or just the fact that she thinks Idina is too busy to keep her website updated.

I'm saying it's not neccessarily a wise assumption that just because a star is working on their own site that the site will be great, which was the implication of Bway_Mill_Fan's post that prompted me to reply. There are time constraints and there are lots of other factors. There are also tons of ugly sites out there designed by people who have no business designing.
That said, I haven't seen Idina's site. It was the assumption that because she was working on it, that it would be good -- that bothered me.

Posted: 1/3/04 at 11:02amThanks Musetta I was a wee bit confused. I have a feeling Idina had someone design it for her and she knows the basics on how to update it. I know its that way for at least one show site.
