Well Folks,
Believe it or not, after I post about forty more times, I will offically became a "Broadway Legend." (It says so right in the BWW Guidelines).
I'm sure you folks are ALREADY at work planning my Broadway Legend Initiation Ceremony.
So, please fill me in so I can starting planning (I don't want to make any mistakes at my own Initian Ceremony!):
1) Is it Black Tie, or can I just wear a nice dark suit?
2) Do I get to choose which Broadway Theater we use?
3) Who's the Master of Ceremonies? Do I have any input re: MC?
4) What classic production numbers will be recreated?
5) What network will air it?
6) Will you fly my Mom in to attend, or will she have to stay at home and watch via some sort of satellite hookup?
7) How many guests can I bring?
8 ) How much time will I have for my acceptance speech?
9) What does the "Broadway Legend" trophy look like?
10) Will some of my "best" posts be featured?
Please get back to me on this as soon as you can!
I'm sitting here on Pins and Needles!!!
Thanks. :)

Actually, Mary, Broadway Legend status is nothing more than a confirmation that you have no life. We'll congratulate you on that if you like...

Well, I love a celebration - especially when it involves getting all glammed up!
I say we take over the Rainbow Room for such an occasion!

1000 posts in 16 days. A little bit scary, no? That's an average of 62 posts a day. So then, it's not my imagination that you're everywhere?
This might actually be a new record.

Hi iflitifloat,
Well, I currently have no partner (anybody out there Interested?) and I find BWW a very good substitute (although not a 100% replacement!) for some of life's "finest pleasures." :)

M_E - my partner lives on the other side of the country...which means I have lots of time (too much) to myself. So I spend many of those hours here with people who are interesting and witty and share so many of the same joys in life!
It's time well spent...

Dear Mary Ethel,
I am somewhat jealous that you have been on this board for barely a month and you are almost at legendary status. I on the other hand have been on for well over a year and I most recently attained the status of Broadway star. Where have I gone wrong?
Congratulations!!
Dottie
