Anyone else feel as if they are starting to slowly, but surely ruin Broadway songs through commericals? I'm not talking about Sarah Jessica Parker per se, but I do mean overall. They don't even have the originals or anyone GOOD singin the commercials.
For example: today my friend was singing a song from "My Fair Lady". I was surprised she knew it, because she is a very big sports buff... and doesn't know any musicals. I asked her about it, and she said "oh it's from some commercial".
*cringe* I don't want some of the most well-known Broadway songs to be known as "commercial songs".
I hope this is a good discussion topic... Kangaroo
