i think i'm going to wait until i see some reactions to the anonymous submissions posted before i decide if i claim my own. i'm kinda iffy on it myself, and i'm getting butterflies in my stomach about it.

But i'm truly excited to read everyone else's.

Yes, feel free to claim your work if you choose to.

Tx was "outed" because of winnning the challenge, but the rest of you who played deserve credit too! I thank everyone who submitted an entry, because they are all excellent.

See you on Monday at 7:00 pm EDT.

thanx everybody for the well wishes. The challenge was really fun. i was afraid i'd be "outed" anyway because of how i tend to ramble in threads. The Board should know too that the Caroline letter was somewhat inspired by QTBOO, who loves that show so much. So did i love it. i hope it has a long regional life. i very much enjoyed the other fan fictions as well, SECRET GARDEN being one of my other favorite shows (among many).

Special kudos to CKEATON for keeping the game so interesting, and for the sportsmanship shown so far. It's very refreshing on a board sometimes portrayed as bitchy and cut-throat.

DARCEY, i'd love to read your first entry that was true, so you had to scuttle it for a fictional account.

Which brings to mind another favorite show of mine which did not get its' due critical respect in NYC...IMAGINARY FRIENDS. It was all about "fact versus fiction." LOVE THAT SHOW!

fact vs. fiction... that also reminds me of city of angels...

my first story was about broadway action figures and me and norbert leo butz wearing the same jacket... i'll leave it at that.

"Do you know what pledge time is, Andrew"? said the PBS Executive. "Yes", Lloyd Webber replied. "My 50th birthday special must be one program that gets done a lot." "No", mused the man from PBS heedlessy. "Not so much. Our Stephen Sondheim Carnegie Hall concert. That's a big one." Spoons, forks and knives seemed suddenly to suspend their motion in horror, all around the table.
