"Do you know what pledge time is, Andrew"? said the PBS Executive. "Yes", Lloyd Webber replied. "My 50th birthday special must be one program that gets done a lot." "No", mused the man from PBS heedlessy. "Not so much. Our Stephen Sondheim Carnegie Hall concert. That's a big one." Spoons, forks and knives seemed suddenly to suspend their motion in horror, all around the table.

well, there is no justice for JUSTICE. Only two minutes apart! Nor does ELPHIE get anything for being so close to the answer, today she was just "not that girl." That is frustrating. It's funny, i think we were all furiously working independently and couldn't see the other posts, or due to Elphie's very quick work i could have posted a better time in correcting the #3 answer. Posting in thread instead of PM was very interesting.

Voting this round is going to be hard. And i can't help feeling as soon as not immune anymore i will be sent off the island with a rocket (LOL). But it has been really fun, and not just because i've been lucky (and i emphasize LUCKY) enough to win the last few rounds.

You're too kind, TwoStep. re: BroadwayWorld Member <i>'Survivor'</i> Official Thread You underestimate your abilities.
But you're right, if I were you I would try to keep winning, because I'm getting a little tired of being beaten by you! re: BroadwayWorld Member <i>'Survivor'</i> Official Thread

I'm sorry to lose such a worthy competitor such as yourself, apdarcey. re: BroadwayWorld Member <i>'Survivor'</i> Official Thread
I'm assuming that ckeaton announced you were voted off tonight because 3 votes for you were already in, meaning that you're the only one who could be voted off (3/5 is a majority).

Sorry Darcey, Elphie is correct. The 3 votes of 5 possible meant that the elimination was achieved without a doubt. I broke from the 'announce at the time of challenge' trend, because as we get to less people, hopefully people will try to make the time to participate.

The next challenge will be at 7 pm EDT tomorrow. Cheers all!

DARCEY, i PM'd you, but once again i bow to a formidable foe passed from the field (i borrow that para-phrasing from one of my favorite game shows, WIN BEN STEIN'S MONEY). My dream is to be on that show (i think it's out of production though) or the ultimate, JEOPARDY!

re: BroadwayWorld Member <i>'Survivor'</i> Official Thread

The following challenge will take us through the next 23 hours.
Within the next hour, you will have to create one thread on the BroadwayWorld.com Off-Topic board for the purpose of this challenge. This thread can be about "any" topic. Be creative! Think about what will generate the most interest.

The following rules apply:

  • You cannot tell anyone that the thread is for this game. It should appear like any other thread.
  • You cannot post on your thread more than once in a row, but you can reply to another board member's post.
  • You must PM me the thread topic, and a link to the thread in question, before 8:00 pm EDT tonight.

The scoring will be as follows:

  • 5 points for each unique member who posts on the thread. (Not including yourself)
  • 1 point for each post on the thread. (according to the tally at 6:00 pm EDT tomorrow)

The person with the most "points" accumulated as of 6:00 pm EDT will gain immunity.

The person with the lowest number of "points" will not be allowed to vote for the elimination.

PM your thread/link in the next hour, and I will see you at 7:00 pm EDT tomorrow, when I post the "official" results. I will have the final say as to when the snapshot is taken, but it will be sometime around 6:00 pm EDT tomorrow.

Tend to your threads like a delicate garden, and they will grow and produce great rewards.

There's still 20 minutes of eligibility, and I will probably extend it if the other person doesn't make it in time. Less time = Less potential hits, so it helps to get it up in prime time.
