You said it iflit. Same thing happened to me but I was away at college. Some guy kept refilling my drink, next thig I remember was being back at my dorm. It was after 2:00 so there was a burly frat guy sitting at the desk, and he was p**sed! He called for someone to sit at the desk, and for the guy (who got me drunk and them brought me back to the dorm) to "SIT THE F**K THERE AND DO'NT MOVE".
He got me to my room made sure I was alright. (Which I was, I had just enough good sense to get the heck out of there!!)
Next time I saw the guy he had two broken arms. The guy who sat the desk saw the girls in the dorm as his little sisters and NO ONE touches them!!

God, what horrible stories and even more horrible that anyone had to endure these experineces. I had stopped reading this thread a couple of days ago and just came into it after someone mentioned to me these expereinces being told.
Each of you must be pretty strong to have gone through that and be able to deal with it and discuss it. Hopefully you've been able to get beyond it and not let it effect you anymore.

iflit I went to a small college in eastern Massachusetts. Our night door guard was on the football and rugby team. No one and I mean NO ONE messed with the girls in his dorm!! It was great having a big brother there to protect a young and STUPID girls honor.

Soory not quite yet I just have to say this really quick. If any of you younger women ever go to a party and haven't been told this, if you set your drink down and its out of your sight, take it and throw it away even if its only for a second. I have heard horror stories about girls and date rape drugs, including one of my sister's friends who was raped and ended up pregnant. She ended up keeping the child. She played Rugby, and you can bet the guys rugby team was pissed. The girl wouldn't tell them who the guy was because she was afraid they'd do something to him and get themselves in trouble. She left it up to the legal system.

My drinks never leave my hand, and if they do, they're in my immediate line of sight (ie: on the table right in front of me)... That's also assuming that it takes me long enough to down a drink that I would have to put it down!

Amen DAME!! I was in college before there was a date rape drug. I was just really stoid freshman and thought I could handle things. Trust me my daughters know way better! and my son has this whole officer and a gentleman thing down.

Hey all I finally got my computer up and running again! Its seemed like ages....though it may have only been a few days, I'm not sure.
Anyway, its scary what can happen. Whenever I go to a party, I usually bring a mini water bottle and just keep it in my bag, 'cause I know people that have gone through really terrible experiences. Ya never can be too careful, ya know.
