Not to threadjack this threadjack but...
BILL Maher says he hasn't seen "Brokeback Mountain," but he told Bill O'Reilly it isn't the first gay cowboy movie. "When I was a kid we had 'Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid,' " he said. When O'Reilly expressed disbelief over the idea that the Paul Newman and Robert Redford characters were gay, Maher pointed out, "One started a film festival, and the other one makes salad dressing."
"I'm an elitist, which is more fun than being a bigot."
BEST. QUOTE. EVER.
Yeah PJ! As I recall, Drudge and O'Reilly were railing against the film saying that it would never succeed in the heartland...hmmm...
and long before Butch and Sundance (just the %#@&ing names alone are so gay), there was Red River and that memorable scene where two young cowboys (one played by gay actor Montgomery Clift) admire one anothers guns and spout lines like, "Can I see yours?" "Can I hold it?"
Aren't all cowboy movies gay movies?
