Yeah, Kerry won foreign policy, but he is KICKING BOOTIE when domestic issues comes up. It makes me think this next debate is gonna even be MORE painful for Bush than this one.

The sad thing is that I'll bet the media is going to call it a draw. Bush did so poorly the first time out he would have had to show up with no pants and dragging a trail of toilet paper on his heel for people not to think that he's improved.

It's TEN P.M. Home stretch time. Does anyone in America think Bush's skills, programs, ideology or lets-have-a-beer back-slapping technique have served? I honestly thought Kerry had a week start in the first (last) debate. But tonight? It's not even close. Bush is pissy, fact-deficient, and phumphering at every turn ("...Charlie, am I done yet {I hope!}) Listen to the ecology question. The ecology president?!

My pragmatism: I don't think this debate, another win for Kerry, will change 50/50 polls -- but the Kerry base has good reason to fight, harder than ever, to put a savvy, thinking person in charge. Bush is beneath the office he holds, and love him if you must you fans out there, because he represents some ineffable aspect of your ideology, he's simply an embarrassment.
