NY State Senator George Onorato is not seeking another term! He was one of the infamous 8 who voted against gay marriage. There's speculation that a primary challenge based on his anti-marriage vote brought this about. That...or at 82, peepaw needs a rest.
In his defense, he has been an advocate on other gay issues. But time has passed the Senator by. Let's hear it for a new day in Astoria!
