I loved it. So much better than The Green Lantern, though I did like that too. I'm not a big comics reader, and I didn't actually realize that Dominic Cooper was Iron Man's dad until reading this thread. SPOILER? The ending was a little sad. Based on the looks of the girl who came into Steve's room at the end, I thought she might turn out to be Peggys grand-daughter or something...she looked quite like Hayley Atwell in my opinion! Also, did they ever actually explain why she was in the US army?

Jay, in the comics Peggy was a French Resistance fighter (yup, I forget how she was able to do that) and Steve never knew her name until years later. I forget how much the film went into her role but I immediately just assumed it was because the US-British alliance often worked together on a lot of secret intelligence matters in the war. I enjoyed that they retconned her and she got to see Steve before the transformation. And believe me, you were on the right track, and not alone in that speculation, when you talk about the possibility of Peggy relatives coming into contact with Steve.
