Right, but he was innocent of what he was accused of doing.

degrassifan,
It's not about her choosing the life she has, it's about seeing where her choices had lead her which I found depressing. I've seen people who have ended up in the most miserable places because of their choices. It's just hard for me to watch.
And, yes, James was cleared of charges...
But, the second Rico bragged that James was an 'International Male Model' who drove a Mercedes, I knew it wasn't going to end well. Rico got lucky that James was at least the same guy in the pictures. To have spent THAT long talking to James online and NOT see ONE picture of him as a model made Rico come across as dense.

Ok, so the charges were officially cleared? Something about that scene didn't add up, so I wasn't sure if James was still lying or not.
I think the minute Rico realized James wasn't a model, his face dropped. It was pretty hilarious when he left and smoked that cigarette. I guess he really needed it! Haha.
Speaking of Sunny, did you guys hear that she got charged with a DWI last weekend?!?!

The season finale was kind of lame. I was hoping they've been saving a KA-RAZY story for the last one. but at least they're getting a second season!

Yeah, the last two people didn't even use fake pictures. Just had some little lies here and there.

Call me a cynic, but I am not believing any of these story lines from the second or third show in. Fabrications from the get go.
Those Blocked: SueStorm. N2N Nate. Good riddence to stupid! Rad-Z, shill begone!

OK, I'm watching the season finale now. Is it just me, or do seasons of TV shows seem to be getting shorter and shorter?

Cable seasons are usually shorter than network seasons. How many episodes did Catfish do? Like 10 or so? That seems about right to me for cable.

Yeah, I guess so. It just feels like they go by so fast.

Yeah, I felt awful for him. And his catfish was a mean and nasty son of a bitch in real life.

It was refreshing to see Anthony actually do the Google Image search and find things for himself. It hardly softens the blows, but it at least helps.

I felt bad for Anthony, but I admit one thing made me feel less sorry for him. It's awful to get lied to as he did, and of course he deserves sympathy, but then he basically had this whole idea that "Oh I know he's lying to me, but I know I still will love him no matter what..." And then as soon as he *sees* what Framel looks like he goes into full on "THIS DECEPTION IS TOO MUCH I CAN'T STAND IT!!"

I call BS on the Cassie/Gladys story. They focused too much on their relationship, the mistakes Cassie had made, how Gladys felt about those mistakes and the role that "Stephen" played in her turn-around before the big reveal for the producers to not have known before that point.
Pretty pretty please don't you ever ever feel like you're less than f**ckin' perfect!

I can't believe nobody has talked about how amazing this last episode was. I've watched it three times already and just cry my eyes out each time! It was SO GOOD!
