Forget about Nev...What about Max?! He is so gorgeous I have a hard time concentrating on the actual subjects and their stories whenever he is in the shot.

Max is the salt and peppery cameraman/sidekick, right? I totally agree with you, Tom.
I like sometimes how there's a cameraman getting a shot of Max getting a shot with the camera. Especially when they're in a little tiny room.

I believe there was a good 20/20 piece on the guys behind Catfish that included interviewing Angela. I definitely think they were fooled but found out at some point. Frankly, Angela was an amazing liar that even if they knew the gist of what she was doing they could never be too sure of whether she was telling the truth or telling another lie at any point.
The production does not bother me. It is the subjects and situations that draw me in. Really, when do you ever call a reality show 'flashy' in production values and see it as a good thing? Just don't distract me from the stories.

I've read that Nev has wanted to break into the bizz (in front of the camera) for a while now, and that seemed to play into the people not seeing the movie as a hoax. I definitely think there was initially some reality there, but they definitely knew what was up at a certain point (or at least had an idea).

I LOVE Catfish! My favorite was Mhissy! She was honestly the best catfish! Chelsea Browning was also good! I remember people on Twitter were so pissed at her.

And she was a nurse...or in nursing school. She should have known better. That just shows you right there that people will believe whatever they need to believe even when irrefutable evidence to the contrary is staring them right in the face.

RJ is apparently gay. Sunny was dumb, but honestly, when you're in "love," you try not to question anything, so I understand these people are coming from. I also understand the whole not having Skype thing. I don't have Skype because my laptop doesn't have a webcam. I just got an iPhone a few weeks ago, so I may just download the Skype app, but I still have no desire to.
