...and YES...they all know ahead of time for the PCAs.
Then why on earth do they make asses out of themselves trying to look shocked?
I switched back when Lopez came on. JG2, you think so? I thought she looked kinda pissed.

Tinfoil...The Terrorizing Terminator
No, she was trying to look pissed, but the stifled chuckle was barely held in. Hell, I don't know, but it looked like it to me.
So the "People" continue to watch their shows.
"Best Song From a Movie".........what the fuc%....I mean what a choice.
Someone mentioned on another thread that they don't watch all the awards shows. I am agreeing with them now! Never again. The Critics Choice and now the Peoples Choice.

I readily admit that I don't participate in what passes for 'pop culture' these days - a combination of having virtualy no interest and simply no stomach for it. However, I ended up in a place where this station was on at the start of these 'awards' - and this Jessica Simpson came out. Now, I've never seen whatever it is that she does, but I kind of assumed it was some sort of entertainment based thing because I'm assaulted by her picture on seemingly every magazine when I try to buy groceries - well, pictures of her and that Nick Lecherous, or whatever his name is.
Imagine my surprise when I found out that she's only a failed Penthouse pin-up who can neither sing nor dance - or, at least that what it looks like. And yet, there she is - being screamed for and adulated by the 'people' while she appears to suffer what can only be described as a cross between an epileptic fit and an asthma attack.
I am now more convinced than ever that life as I recognize it has virtually nothing to do with the common experience of other 'people'. So be it, and thank God for doors and windows that lock.

That was a truly lovely description.

Unfortunately, I wasn't even going out of my way to be cruel, that's just truly what it came across like. Poor thing.

Both she and her sister - who is less attractive and quite frankly (and dubiously) less talented - do a strange jerky thing will their heads whenever called upon to sing or "act." I think it's creepelling.
Nope

I tried to find out on here, but no one bit. I could only watch one awards show this week and whatever that one that was on last night was all I could stand.
In my heart it won. It always wins.

I don't think it was even nominated, if they even have nominations.

It still won in my heart.

I've got to get my chaps dry cleaned before then.

Kringas - there's nothing wrong with dirty chaps - on many levels.

True, but I like to keep them in good condition. They're too pricey to replace.
Kringas, somehow I don't think you are kidding!
Well yea for Ellen and for.....Star Wars!? Wow. Y'all know I love me some SW, but even I was a lil surprised.
