This happened to me once and I got so frustrated that I threw my tv out on my front lawn and never bothered with it again.

One time, a long long time ago, the NBC and CBS channels in my market switched their network affiliations. I was much younger then and I still never remember which is which and always guess it wrong. It was nightmarish when I thought I was aiming for Letterman and ended up with Leno. Yecccccch. I've seen some horrible things.

Not trying to be rude and snarky now, but isn't there some on screen guide you can flip through to get used to where things are now? Like my digital cable box has that available. I would assume the big companies would have similar.

I used to love watching Antenna TV. It was one of the stations with old movies & TV. I still have it but I have to learn Russian to understand it as it has now morphed into one of the foreign language stations now on the grid. One day English will be considered a foreign language. Oh well the March of Progress continues on.

Roxy, English in fact is a foreign language. From England, a magical kingdom across the sea. Other languages like Spanish, or even Russian, are no less "American" than English. There is no offical language of the US, at least not at a federal level.

Glad to hear it. Silly me, after all these years I never knew English was a foreign language. I woke up this morning and now I know a foreign language .

I have to be careful and not let this stray into a political discussion lest some people will get their nose out of joint.

I will therefore not mention the matter of English as a foreign language again. Case closed
