Morning. Sunny day but normal chaos. I was given a new emergency project to lead yesterday that is causing all sorts of havoc. Never a dull day, but could be worse.

A beefsteak is a dinner that consists of trays of really good sliced steak soaked in buttery garlic served on pieces of sliced italian bread. It's all you can eat, oh so bad for you but oh so good. This is being held as a fundraiser for a friend of mine's friend whose daughter is having corrective heart surgery. The wife had to quit her job for all of the medical stuff so they are trying to raise enough to cover a few months mortgage payments, etc.

I bet those beefsteaks are diet food, too! Eat it with cake and watch the pounds melt away. All for a good cause, of course.

LOL! Awesome, Moony! I didn't gain or lose, which is ok.

Sometimes you have to shake up your metabolism. I had a bunch of fried tempura and pot stickers at my mom's house about two weeks ago and was 2 lbs lighter the next morning.

No, harris, I'll have to check that out. I was too alarmed by the story on page A1 of the Post today about all the defective subway switches to notice any other stories.

I think they do that cannoli throw back day every June - you'll have to chcek it out next year. Next time I'm up we'll have to hop over there and chcek the place out, Girly.

Moony...the pizza dip is Girly's specialty. I will have you guys over for my home made cavatelli (which I need to start making again) and meatballs. Dessert will be my cream puff shells stuffed with my cannoli filling.
