Morning!

Busy weekend coming up. I am currently on the outs with one of my best friends but his birthday is today. Mixed emotions. We had so many plans this past year for his b-day and kinda sucky we are in our current situation (and of course it is all his fault :) lol). But I am being a trooper and handling the awkwardness and going out tonight with the gang. Should be interesting. Then a BBQ tomorrow and then the best part of the weekend, seeing you peoples!

My computer is back from the very frustrated IT department. And yes, four days later the virus is STILL here. I'm trying to get as much done as I can (um....like posting on BWW - I have my priorities) before it shuts down again. It's a bit like dealing with Hal in "2001".

My weekend plans include a funeral service on Saturday and a wake on Sunday. Do I know how to have fun or what?

I'm peepless this weekend too, cuz. But, I do have a date with a certain goddaughter for lunch on Monday.
I'm counting the days to next weekend in NYC. Dinner with some favorite men and HAIR!!!!

One of my favorite vacations ever was a 'French Eating Trip' that my then-partner, another couple and I went on.
We planned the entire trip around the top-star restaurants in the southern France region. The point of the trip was to savor the work of the top chefs in that area (Paul Bocuse, Jacques Pic, etc.). It was HEAVEN. Absolute heaven.
