I've been advised to finish the one script we hadn't finished yet - it's just easier in the long run in terms of copyrights, royalties and such.

After that I won't be working with him. But we will always be tied because of the "children." Those little buggers that will hopefully be supporting me in my (rapidly approaching) old age.

You can maintain cordial ties for the sake of the 'children'! Are there any financial protections you should explore now that you've moved in different directions?

Already taken care of, Addy. Collaboration agreements either already exist or are in the works, and the first two have been copyrighted - and the law is very clear there. I'm not worried. I'm also a member of the Guild, and he isn't. (Of course that may change after we get one of these puppies produced, but for the time being...)

And I caved and had a donut. I don't even like them much. But it is National Donut Day. Must do my part!

I can hear my couch calling my name!! It misses me.

The eye is still red, and it wasn't caused by whatever was on my contact. It's just a coincidence that it started right around then. It could be caused by stress, which also, funny enough, coincided with an e-mail I received at work Tuesday that got me all in an uproad. The drops I have to put in 4 times a day cost me $50 for a bottle that's about an inch tall! Insurance paid a whopping $16 towards them.
