Here's another observation/complaint:
The 'In Memoriam' section didn't translate well on TV, because they spent too much time floating the camera over the orchestra and singers - and they didn't show the photos and credits of the people being remembered! Being there, you could watch the screen and see beautiful, enlarged photos with their 'credit' (such as Actor, Two-time Tony winner, etc...). But, on TV, there were some photos that were very hard to see.
They really should have given each of the people who passed away their final moment in full view. The song was lovely but... it wasn't about the singers.

I should probably turn off the computer, lest I post every thought that pops into my very tired brain!!
