Here's another observation/complaint:

The 'In Memoriam' section didn't translate well on TV, because they spent too much time floating the camera over the orchestra and singers - and they didn't show the photos and credits of the people being remembered! Being there, you could watch the screen and see beautiful, enlarged photos with their 'credit' (such as Actor, Two-time Tony winner, etc...). But, on TV, there were some photos that were very hard to see.

They really should have given each of the people who passed away their final moment in full view. The song was lovely but... it wasn't about the singers.

My two cents.

I should probably turn off the computer, lest I post every thought that pops into my very tired brain!!

When I was leaving the house, the radio said it was near the PA/NJ border heading East, which makes sense that it hit when I got up here. It's on the way to you now!

It just got here. It suddenly got dark, the wind picked up, the drops are starting to fall, and I can hear the thunder in the distance.

Boss just called. Roads he normally takes are all closed, so he'll be a little bit getting here.

I love a good storm, but I wish I was still curled up in bed or snuggled on the couch!

I'm not working today, so I'm making myself a nice cup of tea, sitting in the dining room and watching/listening to it all. It's actually kind of soothing.

Storm woke me up @ 5:00am - on the one morning I could have slept in. Fierce lightening and thunder, but only light rain. DC got the brunt of the waterfall.

Moony, when that happens, knowing I don't have to get up for anything, I just pull the covers up, snuggle into the bed with a smile on my face, and go back to sleep!!

Had the thunder not been so loud, I would have done that, too. It sounded like the lightening was striking right in the back yard. Since our chimney was hit by lightening last year, I get nervous when it gets that close.

This is our third week of storms and rain. I'm over it.

I was goin 10 mph on the highway this morning the storm was so bad. Pretty cool if it wasnt for me worrying about crashing. I woke up at 2amish to thunder so loud i thought a bomb went off. jeesh.

Staff meeting this morning - not very pleasant given last weeks occurances. oh well. off to the grind.
