...yes, the tray-bearing waiters were a nice touch.
Tomorrow... back to reality!
Have a nice evening!
Addy, you are very "spottable". For the first four or five awards, wait for the third or fourth nominee -- there you are. I could not see the cuz next to you, but I probably got distracted by my own fan girl screams at seeing you.
Speaking about BFF's, how about the rack on mine? She looked divine!

I'll have to watch tonight. But, I'm with Moony - I HATE seeing myself in photos - let alone on TV! (But - fan girl screams! You are too cute!!)
She looked fabulously divine, Sommsy!
Oh, another fun 'moment' at the party... Moony and I were seated on a couch, sipping champagne, when Steven Daldry walked by with THREE Tony Awards in his left hand. He had his fingers hooked on each one, and was just nonchalantly strolling by, like he had taken off his shoes and was carrying them by the straps. It was a really wonderful 'Tony Moment'
(He had been seated about 3 rows in front of us, so I loved watching him celebrate the Billy wins! When the Billy's won, he jumped out of his seat to go backstage)
I need to get some food. I'm thinking mac n cheese.
I need caffeine to read/comprehend my damn emails.
Will someone PM the ignorant and let me know who the BFF on stage was? I get so lost sometimes.
Addy, it sounds like you and Moony had an absolutely amazing time. It is nice when amazing things happen for amazing people. (Is that enough "amazings" for two sentences?
Shira, you still coming on the 4th?
YWIW, my emails are down at the moment. So, comprehension is the last of my worries.
I am trying to decipher something that involve three international jurisdictions, data privacy laws, and a sales exception.
It is giving me a headache. And these days, saying "no" without a very good reason is not going to work.
I can cure the headache; the privacy laws are up to you.
Actually, Australia was discussed earlier today, now that I think about it... Back to work.
I can only help with the Law of Equity in Australia. Anything else is out of my ballpark.
YWIW - you are too kind. (But it was an amazing night - and that's the perfect word!)
Sorry to hear about the headache! Hope you are able to work through everything and get out for an evening that is NOT headache inducing!
Hi GH. Sorry to hear about your email being down. I would imagine that's not conducive to productivity.
I think it's time for me to wrap things up for the day. Wishing you all an 'amazing' evening!
Addy! You had a fun time, I take it.
How is that headache, YWIW? I could make you a nice cup of tea.
I just took some tylenol, it's how I get rid of headaches!
Just had a scary incident in a parking lot. Someone had a totaled minivan next to my car, when I accidentally "bumped", and I mean barely bumped, the BUMPER of the minivan came off.
No one in Trader Joe's paid attention to the "If you have a Chrysler Minivan" announcement, and there are witnesses and all that, but still not fun.
Ugh. I really really hate the main board. And we also had tray carrying waiters at our party last nite

Hey hey hey!
How's everyone?
I'm so proud of you, DGG!
Ok, wow.
I am home and watching my recording of the Tony's.
...the TV broadcast is really BAD. The sound glitches and the sound mixing is off, and the camera work, focusing on such narrow parts of the performances, rather than showing full stage with all the wonderful activity really takes away from the way it was presented.
Who directed this thing?!
I guess I'm sort'a glad I missed 2/3s of it, except for the part where I missed seeing you ladies on tv.
Homeward bound ... worked out at lunch so I get to chill tonight.

Thanks Shira! I'm pretty thrilled myself!
I've yet to watch the Tonys. I'm at my bf's for the week, and I didn't want to make him sit through them. When I get home, though...yeah. Woo!

I agree Addy - I'm watching it now. What happened CBS? (or maybe it was On Three Productions).
No doubt about it - I need a facelift.
And a booster seat.
No you don't, moony! I have not seen a facelift I thought was becoming.

Wait, I knew Miss P was there. Who else?
Moony, we should see if we can get a 2 for 1 discount on that facelift!
And, I blame the production company. Not CBS. That wouldn't be right...
DD, you are the sweetest! Enjoy your night of chilling!
DGG, Moony and I were there. Lucky us!!
Oh, and Mamie was there! The adult thread was well represented!
Moony, what part are you up to? We can synch up our recordings, pour a glass of wine, and watch 'together' while we post our comments!
Ok, one more thought: when did they stop showing the little boxes with all of the nominees waiting to hear their names called? I always loved watching the people who didn't win oversmile and clap like maniacs so nobody thinks they are a sore loser! (Maybe that only happens during the Oscars...)
I need a facelift.
Kidding. I kid. No,really. Before Deet starts yelling.
