< - -is also glad the damn basketball finals (or something or other) is over. All anyone every wants to talk about here is basketball, I was ALMOST tempted to watch it just so I could join in on the conversation.

What are my adults up to tonight? Well technically its morning, but whatevs.

I just finished preparing cholent, a beef/bean/barley stew. Should be yummy. It now needs to cook for the next 12-15 hours.

That is all. The usual drama with Dad, but that is all.

Ooooh! Family drama. Loverly. I've taken up a new musical interest in Brooke Hogan, I'm ashamed, but I love her for some reason. I don't care if she's talent-handicapped and looks like a drag queen from certain angles. I heart her.

Also, I think I've ran out of gay movies. I might actually have to start watching movies with straight lead characters now. . . eww.

This is true. I just need to be careful, where I "enjoy". I took my Alice Ripley CD out of my CD player last night to put in Brooke Hogan. I was afraid a theater queen was gonna come out of nowhere and beat my ass with their Next To Normal playbill.

Shira sticks to her own little world of music, though I must say I'm liking most of Lady Gaga. So some pop stuff, but mainly a mix of musicals, classical, and classic rock.

I have never been a fan of dance music (what kind of gay am I?!?!),
but Gaga is pretty decent.

I have been hooked on, of all things, the OBCR of 13.
I know, right? But I love JRB's music.

Big baby weekend - Chris's sister had her baby on Thursday and my best friend's brother/wife had their baby on Saturday. And I just found out the adoption went through for one of my co workers this weekend and they got their baby!

My friend David adopted a dog this weekend -- a girl ... Coco Chanel. Doesn't do much for his manly man image. She's a rat terrier.
