Ahahaha, that got a chuckle out of me and Shira. But yes, she's a great friend, and has already got me somehwat adjusted to the city. I felt like the country mouse coming to the big city when I got here two weeks ago. It's still a bit crazy, but I love it.

Of course she mentioned her fairy godfathers! :) She tried to give me a rundown of who was who on BWW today. I mostly remember that DG is Douglas, DS is Doug. A few others, I remember, but that's not important.
But I also got the full orgasmic play-by-play Friday night of the dinner she had her some of her godfathers. Now that's food I can't even imagine creating, but would love to eat! :drooool:

Addy! I finally had to stop watching. Ah, well. He's had a very difficult year - and this sort of epitomizes where he's at at the moment. I'm sure there's going to be a lot of intropection and self-questioning. I felt so badly for him today.
BUT, hurrah for Rafa - whom I truly think is a wonderful young man (and, OBVIOUSLY talented on the court!) I'm still happy to have these sincere and kind men heading a sport I've loved for SO long.

Yeah, all I know is there's a Douglas and a Doug and a Jonny in Singapore and some other people. No bad words from her, just identifiers. Maybe I can meet all of you lovely people, since I'll be around until August. :)

SC - we're a little spread out. I'm in the LA area, and there's one up the coast in Seattle. But you do have one right there in NYC, and one just outside in Penn. SO, you'll definitely meet some of us, I'm sure.
Addy - wanted to tell you we had a dinner/show evening with L&D on Wednesday, and they said to say "hello". We got to talking about GYPSY, which they saw recently in NYC, and L said he enjoyed the performance better when he went with you - it felt more 'historic' he said.

Aaaah, good to know. I couldn't remember if both Dougs were in town. I guess it was DS who was at Friday's dinner. :) Makes things a bit easier to remember.
