Here you go, Middy!
lol. it's connected on less than a third of my toe, but it's too much to pull it off still.
Have you, say, oh, I don't know - considered seeing a doctor?
That's rich, coming from the girl who had to be threatened to go to the emergency room.
I went to Lord & Taylor. Sales. Sales. Sales. I was bad. It was good.
Yeah, yeah, yeah...
And you didn't call me, D2? Sheesh! a SALE?
You're sick, remember? I was only thinking of your delicate health.
nope. it's not broken, and even if it was they don't do anything for broken toes other than tape them together. so going to the doctor would've been useless.
I could've have given instructions. Such as "Marc Jacobs, Size 10".
Middy - You're worse than I am! And that takes talent!
I don't take instruction well, Shira. Do you?
lol shira. no i'm not. if they could've done something i would've gone, but i've broken my toe before, and i didn't think it was broken (and it's definitely not). but they really don't do anything other than tape them together, and i can do that at home.
Did you, Middy?
D2 - Touche.
yup. playing soccer. years ago. someone got in my way and i kicked them... and dammit if i didn't finish that game... i could barely stand on my foot, let alone run, but i finished that game AND kicked the ball again.
Good story.
Now, what I meant was "Did you tape your toe?"
DD - Thanks! I thought that movie was pretty cute. And my love of cheese? Yeah, very appropriate!
Shira, follow directions? That's a funny one! :-*
oh. no. cause i didn't think it was broken (i could still bend it relatively easily) and i have no idea where the tape is (if i even have any at this point)
Oh good lord. Go to the friggin' drugstore and get some tape.
why? i did it 3 weeks ago. my toe's fine now... minus the nail falling off.
I think I may be getting a stomach bug and the wedding is Friday. not good.
Just so I can establish this now - it's not MY fault!
Middy - Just your nail...I've been envisioning your entire toe falling off!
my poor tinky and middi ,and shira
Hi all. I'm just back from an absolutely lovely evening! I met up with the lovely Miss P and her terrific family and then we met up with the always charming Glebby - who hosted us all to dinner at the top of the Kennedy Center! This was followed by some incredibly beautiful ballet performed by his Ballet West and two other companies. The only negative - I lost everybody after the show was over! I ended up giving up looking and coming home.
gee..... you think they did that on purpose?
Oh, Mamie! So jealous! That sounds absolutely spectacular!
no no no mamie, dont think that =(
Well guess what? I just heard from Miss P and that's exactly what did happen! They all decided to skip the third act and they left!
What? I assume you're joking.
