morning. I didn't sleep at all last night even though I was fried and couldn't keep my eyes open when going to bed.....ugh.
I hate when that happens.
I guess starting the new job and all this week, I go to bed and I'm out. Haven't slept like this in ages.

Ah yes, the adjustment period. I'm always glad when it's over and I feel like 'an old hand' at work.
One more day until the weekend, folks! Sorry I missed Addy last night.
Good mornin'!
New cars! Fun!
D2!!! Moony!!!! Whiskers!!!!!!
I'm so sleep deprived and fried, it is actually making me nice. I was actually called *gasp* pleasant */gasp* this morning.
You ARE pleasant, Tink. Most of the time.
I was called a bitch yesterday.
Yeah, I have to say that in all the time we've spent together, which is an alarming amount, when you think about it, I've only seen you less than pleasant on three occasions. That's not bad at all.
Goodmorning all - In Marketing class again but the students are watching BIG and I'm on the computer. Good way to start a Thursday morning. By the way I am definitely coming in July. Have my ticket for Damn Yankees and a ticket for South Pacific..Yeh!! Saw a few pages back that people were wondering about Priceline. I do Priceline all the time and have had great luck. We stayed at the Westin in September for $150 a night. The trick is to book a cancellable hotel room that you can live with and then do priceline last minute...you get better deals that way. There is a website, biddingfortravel.net, that shows what hotels have been accepted and for what price. It has been very helpful to me. There is also a hotel that has very good rates for single rooms. I have stayed there before and it ranges from $80 to $100 a night. It is Herald Square Hotel on 31st and Broadway. It's not fancy but it is very nice for the price and I would rather spend my money on shows and not on hotels. Anyway..Happy Thursday and can't wait till July.
Okay, folks, I'm out of here. Have fun today!
Thanks, Addict!
I may try it this time because I can cancel my current room up until 3 days before my stay.
Edit: Bye, Deet, have a good day!
Morning. Definitely running late, but I wanted breakfast, dammit!
Wait, is Deet in Florida now?
Hi Shira!
*the cows bring in waffles*
howdy my shamey- lets go to universal, simpsons ride is open
and tink nice new pic, brings out the color of your eyes
Hi Shamey....Yes, it might be worth it. Even DG's nightmare, The Paramount, is not that bad for a single person. I have stayed there two times and it is a great location. I actually think they give better deals to first time bidders...you know trying to give a good impression.

We should probably make a reservation for Saturday night if everyone wants to get together before the show.
So here's what's up:
I got to Florida yesterday - it's almost a living nightmare. Mom's in the hospital, she fell and fractured her pelvis. My father is staying at my sister's but going home (my parent's house is next door) daily for his physical therapy with the home healthcare worker. Both of my parents are nearly deaf and STUBBORN as three year olds, and there are always the unpredictable things my father does. Right after I logged off before, I was getting ready to go to the hospital to visit my mother when my father reversed the motor scooter he uses to get back and forth between the houses, and it jetted out into the middle of the yard and overturned on top of him. He's fine, miraculously no broken bones or anything like that. but then the home health care worker arrived and said she could only stay until 1:30 today. The earliest my brother-in-law can get back from work is 3:30, so now I'm staying here so that someone can be with him in between. And apparently, it's like this nearly every day. And it's worse when my mother is here, because she also has that damn thing called free will. It's like being with three year olds.
But on the bright side, I can play here all morning!
Thank God your dad wasn't hurt! Hope all works out with your mom.
Both stubborn, huh? Now I know where you get it.
