Ya know, as I re-read that...and then I said screw it. And there I go again.
Moony, you need to go to the second page of the Thanksgiving thread and see the pic JoeK posted of his dessert for Thursday.

Now, if it were only FILLED with chocolate......
Chocolate Mousse.
I bet I could make one of those.

I bet you could. And should. And invite me over.
You got it!
IT'S DONE!! And it IS the coolest thing ever! I've never actually seen a demo, so to be standing outside my car, hitting a button and it friggin' starting...!
Deet, you never did tell me and Moony what time we should be there on Thursday? Hmmmmm???

To paraphrase JAWS . . .
"We're gonna need a bigger bag."

sounds like a plan!

I'm assuming that he's making it with the aid of a grocery bag, not a lunch bag. I mean...this is ME we're talking about here.
J2 is going all out this year - and I even helped last night getting the tomatoes for the Bruschetta ready to slow roast over night! Well, I helped until he yelled at me for putting the tray in the oven the wrong way. Who knew air circulates in a specific direction in an oven?
We just had someone drop out, so we do have room... (at the table, not in the oven.)
ETA: And yes, Moony, I'm using a Macy*s shopping bag. Just for you.

Thanksgiving day is also my wedding anniversary, so I'm obligated to drag the hubby along. He doesn't each much, though.

Happy almost anniversary, Moony!
Awww, happy anniversary to the Moonys! My mom & step dad's anniversary was the 27th (well still techincally is).
Moony, do you or your family members have any special events that aren't on national holiday's?
LOL, SOMMS. I think they coordinate all births with the calendar.
Oddly enough, my family is the same as the cuz's ... makes for easy reminders. Me--due on Christmas, but came five days late, sister--Lincoln's birthday, brother--Valentines Day, sister--Presidents Day, mother--Mother's Day. I guess it's genetic.
Wow, that's good, SOMMS! The only one I have is brother - President's Day.
P.S. - I played water polo again yesterday for the first time in 6 years. I'm OWIE today. And sadly, I do not look "killer" in a swimsuit. It did, however, inspire me to NOT eat the 6 lbs of carbs I keep for emergency stress situations. For the morning, anyhow.

LOL! It's TRUE:
My dad was born on Mothers day
My mom was born on Fathers Day
I was born on July 4
My brother was born on Easter
My sister....was born on the anniversary of the dropping of the bomb on Nagasawki (there's one in every family)
My parents were married on All Saints Day (Nov 1)
We were married the Saturday after Thanksgiving (Nov 26)
My sister was married on New Years Eve (both times!)
My brother was married on Memorial Day weekend (both times!)
You should make a calendar. With family images and dessert.
The gym helps with bathing suits. And carbs. Just sayin'.
Happy Anniversary, Moony!
I know. I'm thinking of developing some workout habits. My brain does so much working out though. My body? Meh. I'll get there.
Get there today. After all the time, money and effort you've put in so far, Shira, this should be a no-brainer.
Or don't go to the gym. But then don't bitch publicly or privately about anything your father says to you regarding your weight, or about how you look in a bathing suit.
See, I can be just as relentless as Q.
