Packing my bags and taking my smiling face to France today. At some point I'll remember why I thought this trip was a good idea. We don't have to be at the airport until the afternoon, so I'll pop into the office for a bit to tie up loose ends.

Miss Miriam had a great check up today. The tumors are still shrinking and she's doing remarkably well. There were actually even more than they initially though, but they are all making progress. We got the okay to travel to the US after her second vaccinations! She has two very happy parents. All I can think about is putting he in my grandmother's arms.

You all my recall my musings about my "mouse" secretary, well she learned last night that her husband has lung cancer! Based on his symptoms I suspected something nefarious. This is not good. She is not equipped to deal with this. (He smoked many packs a day.)
