Monday's are annoying as I get up before 6 and get to work after 8 - dropping off kids to summer school and job.
Family drama in my extended family, whole series of different people mad at different people - all involving a fund raiser for my sister's scholarship fund! Arghhh.

We have early Fridays - that is about it.
I ended buying some really beautiful Korean black lacquer end tables and matching cabinet at a garage sale over the weekend.
The jade work is just about perfect, but in a couple of places the lacquer needs to be fixed. I am having a restorer come and give me an estimate. Either it was an amazing deal, or a waste of a little bit of money ...
As if I need more furniture!
Happy Monday Adults.
Does that mean slightly less than six months 'til the Holiday Party?
G'morning.
Day One: lots of good stuff. Lots of homework. And like any good student, I waited until 6:00 am this morning to finish it. And a member of the cast of THE DROWSY CHAPERONE is in the workshop. (No, not Sutton. A minor member.) I love the universe's sense of humor sometimes.

G'morning.
Day Two: very intense, very focused, lots of writing done including a much better final scene. Same idea, but with less obvious and therefore funnier dialogue.
ETA: can you tell I'm in revision mode already?

I'd be happy to look over it. Some municipalities have wacky laws about how long food can be out. I have a hotel in Newark that will only let me have it out for two hours; from the minute they deem the set-up finished. I've had to throw myself over the buffet table to stop the catering crew from clearing when my sessions have run long. Serious!
