And cloudy here, with a few sprinkles. You know - just in case the humidity level was about to drop.

We have very humid air here.
The NBC5 anchor said "hump day" this morning, I chuckled!

I saw a cute commercial the other day with a camel that walks around an office, saying "What day is this?", trying to get his coworkers to say "It's hump day." I couldn't tell you what product the commercial was for (insurance?) so, while being cute, it was not successful.
It's for GEICO, Moony.
They're an interesting case study in that they never stick to one brand image, often running several simultaneously (i.e. The Gekko, The Cavemen, now The Camel). Their research has shown it hasn't hurt their identification in the slightest, but I'm not quite sure about that. Addy, do you want to weigh in?
One of the commercials I'm currently loving (besides the ubiquitously brillian AT&T spots) is the one for Valspar Paint with the chameleons. Absolutely wonderful!

More guests this weekend - LOVE them, but so busy lately - would be nice to have a "normal" weekend.
Looking forward to out of town visitors this weekend!

I'll be an out of town visitor to the North Shore in 3 weeks, Brd! Chicago is THE place to be this summer!
I'll call you when we land tomorrow, DD.

Mooney - beautiful day - streets teeming with people. Daley Plaza packed for Farmer's Market.
That is about the time that we are headed to DC!
The weather's beautiful here, too. Frosty nights leading to crisp and sunny days. Traditionally, the second week of July is the coldest of the year.
As for the Geico commercials, the only series that I consciously identify with the brand would be the gecko. Granted, I am not in the States to see the full range of ads that often. But, that gecko stays with you.
Happy Thursday evening adults! After seeing two of my favorite NY men last night (and having a lovely dinner) I am finally back from meetings and dinner for the office folks.
Wow, it is humid! But seeing the the lovely lads mad me feel like it was springtime. Back home tomorrow, and then off to Orlando on Tuesday.
I tired.
Happy West Coast jaunt guys!
Good morning kids. Off to Knoxville!

Goodness, Toto, people come and go so quickly here!
Traveling back to my hometown this evening for a two-day high school reunion. Not as far as some are traveling, unless you count the decades we'll be revisiting. I need to get through two big meetings here this morning first. Yuck.

Y, that is nice!
Mooney - your 20th already!
Beautiful here - I assume guests will be coming down to Michigan Ave. or Millennium Park, etc.
TGIF!
It's mid-July in the Northwest. Of course I'm wearing a sweater.
I hope D2 packed cool weather clothes.

He probably brought his mink!
Have a fun weekend!
A lot of my friends are spending the weekend at the Russian River, which is a few hours north of San Francisco. I have to work, though.
I do not have a mink, Brd.
Anymore.
Okay, so all I have to say about last night is: ALL playwrights should have evenings like that. I am so pleased.
And thanks, DD, for suggesting I submit the play to this festival.

OK, where is everyone? Did you all melt?
Great time at the reunion parties this weekend. Good God, some of my classmates are OLD. Must have been held back a few years. Like...maybe 10? Back to real life for three days. I guess that makes Tuesday my hump day!

Deet - congrats!
Mooney - I am sure you were the bell of the ball!
C18 is now 18! You would think it was her 12th birthday, my theory - 18 your birthdays are thrown by your friends. Having said that I am getting her an iPhone 5.
Hot and humid and will get worse this week!
Crappy Monday!
