VACATION!!!!

So far this morning -- baked and decorated two dozen red velvet cupcakes, packed clothes, gathered all my items for the Antiques Roadshow and now I'm out to mow the lawn. Vacation???

I've narrowed it down to four items (can take two), an oil painting, an art gallery poster from 1958, some Miss America jewely/collectibles and some pottery. Still mulling over what will make the cut. But, it's all going to Knoxville with me.

Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)

Coming East tomorrow, back Friday, and then home for 4 days, and then to Orlando next week - then hopefully home for a while.

My boss is heading for a conference in New Orleans on Thursday. Seriously, who schedules national conferences in the deep south in July?

Only 10:45am and I've already been in three meetings this morning. I hate meetings.

Speaking of going places, we are now not coming to NYC on the way to Maine. Hubby couldn't get the tickets to anything that he wanted to see, so we'll make that trip in the fall. Instead, we're going to upstate NY. Not quite the same thing, in my view.

My goodness, Louisiana in July. Moony, dear, if you are ever required at such a conference, you need to find a few things. First, find a cool, shady spot. Then, find something long, cool and potent. And a beignet. Should you repeat step two several times, you will not require another thing for your conference. Conference? What conference? Enjoy.
