Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)

Hi.

Today would have been Mom and Dad's anniversary.

Mom and I had a few hugs and tears over the weekend.

I made my 'to-do' list for all I have to get done before I leave on the 20th. I need to hit the 'pause button'!

Hard to believe it's already time to prepare for back-to-school. I feel like my summer just started.

Cake. Yum. Have a happy day, all!

Good morning!

Very early greetings from me since I can't sleep. I figured I may as well get up and be productive.

Moony, that made me smile!

Today is my Friday. Hooray!
Having a mother/daughter day tomorrow to celebrate Mom's birthday (which is Saturday). My sister is coming to NY and I'm surprising Mom with dinner and a show.
On Saturday we'll go to D'Town to celebrate Mom's birthday with the rest of the family. Can't wait. Hooray.

I'm still on a high from seeing Paulo Szot at 54 Below last night. Everything about it was magical. It's probably why I can't sleep... Sigh. Swoon. Wow!

And, on the most important note of all: HAPPY GIRLY DAY!

Max had us up almost all night again last night. The little sh!tter.

We just dropped him off at daycare with three cups of rice and two bananas. He's their problem for the next 8 hours.

I, too, was up last night - my problem was 2:00am thunderstorms. Consequently, I overslept this morning. Goiod thing we're still on summer break hours.

Thanks, wow I need to update my av. Its grown a little since then. That pic was from when my oldest son was 6 weeks old. He starts kindergarten in a month and I now have a 14 month old little boy added to the mix who is into evertything.

Thanks Brd! It seems like yesterday, but lots has changed in that time. I've moved half way across the country to the East Coast (Thank God!), had another child, been reminded of why I choose to teach and been renewed in my passion for working with kids, and am now approaching the 30 year milestone with a sense of excitement (though dread of no longer being able to say I'm "in my 20s"- I feel like I have to actually "know" what I'm doing in the world. Thankfully, I'm actually getting there with confidence) for the future.
