hey hos!
So,I went into my FB Private Messages last night to answer my cousin, and I saw that I had one in the stupid "Other" box from July 16. I don't see that box from my phone, and that's how I've been answering messages the past couple weeks. Anyway, there was a message from someone that was originally from my town that I didn't know. She asked me if I was so and so's daughter. I looked at her profile and saw that she had graduated a few years ahead of me from high school. Now, I'm wondering if she's associated with my brother because of the age aspect or if she's talking about my Dad. I responded back that was both my Dad and brother's name. She wrote back shortly after that she had worked at this neighborhood bar, so then I wrote that was talking about my Dad, since I knew my brother never went into that place, except maybe for packaged goods once in a while. Anyway, I could see she read the message, but that was it. She didn't respond back or anything. The rest of the night I was wondering why she needed to know if I was his daughter? It's not like she had anything to tell me.

Some Friday morning fun. I love when Fallon does these!
Blur them lines.
Happy Friday.
So nice to have the windows wide open this morning, to let in the cool fresh air.
Girly, that's interesting... maybe she's waiting until she has time to send a longer reply? Keep us posted!
YWIW, so much fun. Agree!
I was able to make it to Ben Rimalower's "Patti Issues" at the Duplex last night. What a performance! He has two left (after a very extended run), so if you have the chance, don't miss it.
It's been a little chaotic on my block. I live across the street (directly) from the building where the woman fell to her death after sitting on the railing of her 17th floor balcony. My windows look directly at the balcony with the broken rail, and down onto the scaffolding where she fell, which is now marked off with police tape. I feel just ill thinking about it.
What a tragic, tragic mistake she made. Heartbreaking.
ps - be sure to watch the video of beautiful, strong, talented Glebby that I posted.
I makes me smile. Even through tears.
Addy, I wondered about that!! I thought that was your street, but didn't remember exactly. I remember your building number, cause that was my Babci's house number.
I can't even imagine how that poor guy feels!!!

and she was an ad girl and her sister lives in PA. Freaky!
Horrifying!
It's directly across the street.
I had gotten home around midnight on Wednesday night, after being out celebrating a friend's birthday. I was just falling asleep when I heard a huge numbers of sirens and saw flashing lights. I looked out but couldn't really see anything (thank God). I was just horrified to wake up the next morning to hear the news.
Currently the street is lined with TV trucks.
I agree with you about the date. Absolutely horrifying!
Somms - I know!! Also, my niece was in that building on Friday night. Her college roommate's cousin lives there, and they were all in NY for the weekend, so after they had dinner and drinks with me, they went over there. She was pretty upset when she heard about it, too.
Tragic, tragic.

'Morning!
All my vacations are done and now it's time to get serious about work. Sort of. Maybe tomorrow. Sigh. I want more time off!
And regarding the weekend's events: all I can say is that $200,00 buys a hell of a fancy wedding.
Morning Adults. Taking today off. After all the travel these past months, it is nice to have an extra day.
Had a mini mother meltdown over the weekend. Ugh. The power of genetics over rational thought is amazing. I am rethinking agreeing to the family trip, but I will probably go and just make sure I buy a bottle of the good stuff before we leave port...
Or, maybe Deet and Co can just adopt me as a long lost sister.
Happy Monday.

I'd opt for adoption. They have good stuff that you can inherit.
And, I actually like their dog. My mom's dog is possessed by the freaking devil.

And cake.
But he's no match for Moony there.
There's cake?! Could y'all adopt me, too?!

His dog eats the cake, Hep. Takes it right out of people's hands. You'd think the poor thing was never fed. something to consider before you petition for adoption.
As long as I'm walked at least once a month, I'll be fine.
Moony lies, Hep. Max did go after Moony's cake, but he was no match for her. It was a sight to behold, the two of them wrestling for that sliver of chocolate deliciousness, but poor Max was ko'd in the first round.
G'morning.
