'Morning! Another beautiful day!

Finally cleared out all the messages/emails that collected over the week and am now ready to...go in vacation. Not happening. I AM headed for Chicago on Friday, but it's a family wedding and, believe me, it will be no vacation. If I were Deet, I could look forward to a play or two emerging from the chaos and strife, but alas, I lack the talent. You will have to read a bout it in the Chicago newspapers.

Welcome back, Moony! Hope your vacation was heavenly, although I know it can be undone the moment you return to the office and the pile of calls and emails.

Boobs, so thrilled to hear about FIRST DATE. I have a long list of shows I need to catch up on, now that I can breathe a little.

Hope your travels to Chicago go smoothly, Moony. The travel Gods have not been kind to me lately.

Am finally, finally in the post-Upfront mode, and while there is a mountain of day-to-day work to do, I feel like I have my life back a little. Except yesterday was wall to wall meetings. A little announcement over the weekend about two major ad agencies merging... gotta love change!

Had a fun NYC family weekend. My 21-year-old niece and her boyfriend dictated the agenda, which means we mostly pub-crawled. It was kind of fun, and I found I still have stamina for such nonsense, which made me happy.

Wonderful air with open windows last night. What a loooong month July has been! I'm not working through organizing some of what I unpacked (just to get boxes out of the way). It's all coming together. At last.

That's it for me. Happy Tuesday and I'll try to stop back more often!

We have to archive that Color-code thread. It's actually the second one (I remember when the original exploded and was deleted), but it's such a part of our BWW history... I would hate to lose it.

The color code thread and that era was so much silly time wasting fun!

To accomidate the Brd children today - I have already been on three rail lines and 6 different segments! Saw a good chunk of the city and Evanston today!

Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)

Morning peeps! Welcome to the last day of July. Where do the months go? I can't wait to be on vacation for the next 2 weeks. I just need to get through today, tomorrow and Friday. Lots of work to get done around the house. Hopefully I'll get it all done. Of course I made my usualy doctors and house maintainance appointments. I miss the days when vacations meant going to the beach/pool all day and spending the nights on the boadwalk or at a night club.

BB - I hear you! I am on "vacation" next week and will be in the office on Tuesday and Thursday. My remaining vacation days in office will be for college dropoffs.

Greetings!

Am finally going to see Ben Rimalower's "Patti Issues" tonight.
I had tickets last October, but Hurricane Sandy hit. His run ends in 3 weeks, so I'm glad to finally get to it. I've been hearing great things!

I would love a vacation week to 'get stuff done' followed by a vacation week of just sitting and doing nothing.

For those of you with vacation time planned: enjoy!

HEP! I missed a Hep sighting!

Brd - You'll be leaving Chicago just as I arrive! Hope it's a nice weekend there. We have tickets for a boat tour of the city with an architectural guide on Saturday morning.
