Good morning, kids. I had a good nights rest. The bleeding has pretty much stopped, swelling is subdising, but the throat and lip (from trach) are killing me. Meds don't seem to stop that pain. Weird. The most fun I had was going to the Pharmaacy yesterday to pick up the meds and scaring the hell out of the evil bitch who works the counter and who still doesn't recognize me after ten years and 1 or two visits each month. I guess I looked like I'd been hit by a car. She actually asked me if I was all right. If I wern't so groggy, I'd have had fun messing with her.

SOMMS, will throat lozenges help? My mom has issues when the NG tube is used, and she says throat lozenges and/or numbing spray helps a lot.

When my mom was in the ER, they would spray some numbing spray down her throat to help with the discomfort.

Understanding that for this audience, it may be a dual use application...

MT - that is funny - that was C15's tweet today - both he and Mrs. Brd are off tomorrow.

It is going to be a challenging time for Mrs. Brd as she leaves her friends today at her old job with the crazy boss and starts a low key job with truly wonderful people!

Oh yes! Her sadness is mainly that her best friend for a decade will be her former co-worker! My kids are THRILLED that she is leaving - no more complaining.

I have had to call about 7 times to get a triple charge for co-pay for a doctor's visit reversed! Really irritating - only 50 bucks, but times are tough!

brd,sounds perfect! My boss actually told him yesterday to lower the volume of his voice being he gets on the phone and everyone can hear his entire conversation. He tried yesterday lowering it, but today being the boss is working from our NJ office all bets are off. It's so unprofessional and yet he sees nothing wrong in it. I told him to go have his hearing checked. He also burps all day and never once says 'excuse me" He's a disgusting man and yet I call him "friend".

One of our tenants is also one of my best friends and his phone voice is so LOUD! The goal is to "off" the old man and then he would have the office next to me, but I am not so sure about that! He does not belch though!
