Morning peoples! Happy monday!
Good morning, kids. I stumbled into the office. I have such a headache. I'm actually allergic to the skin of the apple, but since you can't possibly peel all the skin off the apple; no apple products.
SOMMS. Since you're at work I guess you can't take the good drugs.
My friend has a very similar allergy to mangos.

The skin of most apples makes my mouth itchy - except for Golden Delicious apples. I don't react to apple products though, so when in doubt, I'll take the apple pie over the apple. Can't be too safe, you know.
The only thing I have a problem with (Other than penicillin, allergic to that) is raw spinach. I guess I am no Popeye.
Not a fan of salmon, lobster and shellfish - but that is just because it all tastes like soap.
Funny aside, my last serious boyfriend worked in the fishing industry - selling the cable they use for some types of fishing - he would be home fresh crab, lobster ... and I would end up giving most of it to my parents.
Also, LOVE Honeycrisp apples.
How can you not peel all the skin off? I do. Same with poatoes. I can't stand when there's skin in mashed potatoes or other potato dishes.

I don't get an allergic reaction to apples but they do upset my stomach which I found is common. But I'm fine if it's baked into something.

I CANNOT eat apple skin and do not! I also would die if I consumed salmon and other fish and do not eat walnuts and pistachios, but can eat pecans and peanuts!
Bizarre day at Soldier Field - storm was intense with long delay. I was with C15 so we stayed to the end.
Mooney - the school that you know CRUSHED its nemesis!
Not really a crappy Monday. Walked Mrs. Brd to her building and also showed her the L stop to get home. Very funny to me after being in the Loop for 23 years - I know most buildings and every corner.
While I MIGHT trust you Girly, I'm NOT leaving my fate to the rest of the world. A few instances of not breathing will do that to a fellow.

Brd - Glad to hear of the victory! AMDG!! I spoke to my sister yesterday - intense weather! My niece in East Peoria lost every tree in her yard, her fence and shed, but her house was spared. All four houses at the end of her street were smashed. Scary stuff!

Speaking of scary - anyone taking notes on dangerous foods? If one concocted the right menu, we could all be wiped out during one meal.
Only Max would remain to clean up the leftovers.

Peoria area was hit hard! The wind and rain was intense, but in my neighborhood, not damage that I could see. We had a styrofoam cooler on the deck that did not blow away, strange.
I wouldn't expect you to eat my apple cake, if I ever did make it. I just couldn't figure out how it was so difficult to peel the entire apple. Lazy bums. LOL.

What leftovers?
Slipped. Gashed my leg. Blood everywhere. Don't need stitches, thank God, and the hip is fine, but ouch.
And did I mention there's blood everywhere?
Ouch.
I also get an itchy throat when I eat apples. But I love Honeycrisps so much, I don't mind. It's probably a mild allergy of some sort, but it's not severe enough to bother me.
Crazy morning. Too much to do. Too little time.
ouchies, D2!!!!

Cold here. Very odd commuting with Mrs. Brd. Last time was when I was in law school and she was in retail - 23 years ago.
Happy Tuesday - open docket which is fine to catch up. At deposition in far western suburbs yesterday - box store after box store followed by a mall next to a mall and cookie cutter houses.
