I do. Up until a few years ago, we could carry over up to 15 days.

I think he can carry some over.

I can't carry over my days either.

Put my PTO request in for the last 2 weeks of Feb. :) I've never taken more than 4 days off consecutively.

We are so small I have rarely taken more than 6 business days in a row. I will take a week after Christmas, but will still come in for year-end accounting and tax stuff.

I can carry over 1 week until March 31st. I'm taking my last week of 2013 in February

Wintergreen. Yechhh.

Renovation start date: Monday, December 2. Which means we should be done by mid-January.

And we got tickets to see A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE... for Sunday, December 1. The 40th anniversary of my first B'way show, IRENE.

I usually cap out, but they changed the accounting rules so I have some flexibility. I get 5 weeks a year, and cap out at 10. I am right now at about 8, but my family trip will help. We used to be able to sell days into our 401K plan - I miss those days.

We are considering cutting back on the staff overall hours for 2014.

One of my secretaries has so much time off she does not even know how to use it.

One of my coworkers has so much vacation time that he takes every Friday off. He's been the maintenance supervisor for at least 20 years.

Addy - so sorry you're sick! At leasr it's before the holiday and not durimg. Small comfort, I know.

Happy Wednesday, folks! Big power-grab battles being fought here (yes, it happens in schools, too) and I'm just keeping my head down and doing my job. I do find it painful to see people I respect and admire go after each other, though. I think we all need a break.

Addy - I had the flu a few weeks ago it was awful. Two of C15's best friends are home sick, so I expect the shoe to drop in our house!

Mooney - I hear about those power struggles at our school. There was an unexpected departure a few years ago, but the new head is a dynamo! We currently have a great administration!
