Morning peeps! Poddie can smell and post from work...double YAY!!!!
Addy, glad to hear you're feeling better. I know about contractors. I have to stay home this up coming Tuesday to wait for the town to come by to give final approval on the generator. Good news is I'm on vacation after this work day is over!

Good lord - Tink has more fuel than her car!
Morning! Giggle of the day: the president's assistant sent out an email this morning, inviting all faculty and staff to a wine & cheese party over in their building next Tuesday afternoon (to celebrate the start of the break). The subject title of the email?
See You Next Tuesday!
She has NO clue. Neither, apparently, does anyone else. I keep giggling.

Well, ya know, someone's gotta be prepared. When I spoke to everyone at the rehearsal dinner they were all "oh yeah, will there be booze in the limo?" but no one was actually committing. So it'll be a nice surprise if no one else came through. And if they did? I guess I have framily party party favors :)
Moony, that is hilarious.
I just found another thing that has to be fixed... a huge crack over my front closet door, where they removed the door frame. As time settles, it's amazing how many flaws are popping up.
Still happy, but I'm keeping a sharp eye out for things while their work is still under warranty.
Tink, you're the one they can all rely on!!
Boobs, good luck with the final inspection. Will be nice to have it all behind you.
Enjoy another vacation. *jealous!* (But happy for you!!)
Happy Friday Adults.
Tink sound like the perfect Bridesmaid!
Addy, I hope you continue on the mend.
SOOMS - just a continued YAY.
I was not alive when Kennedy was assassinated - it is like a benchmark for folks, whether you were alive or not. But seeing all the posts today make me so very very sad. I (like many) fantasize about how different things could have been if ...
I was 3 (same as John-John). I remember sitting on my living room floor coloring in front of the TV. My Mom was sitting on the couch behind me sobbing uncontrollably. I looked at her and then the TV, but didn't understand what was making her cry. I continued to color.
Yay for vacation weeks! So looking forward to not schlepping up here for a little bit, and waking up before the crack of dawn. Though, I do have to take the car in on Monday and find out why the stupid check engine light keeps coming on and going off at a whim.
I don't remember anything, except being glued to my father's side during the funeral, staring at John-John.

The boys on the way to school asked if I was alive when JFK was assasinated. grrrr...
About that - dropped them off, drove to suburbs for 30 minute court appearance - back to city and parked in loop - total? FOUR HOURS!!!
Lunch with Mrs. Brd. again, people might be thinking that we actually like each other!
TGIF!! C20 should be home in a few hours. Tomorrow - more playoff football!

I guess I should shut up, one of my dearest friends - one of those friends that you rely on a daily basis for advice and support - just texted me that his mother will only receive comfort medical care following her stroke. Very tough decisions that was made with consultation of his ailing mother!
