YWIW, you will be right next to my office! I'm in the AT&T building (195 Broadway) - right next to St. Paul's Chapel. If you get a chance, be sure to go into the Chapel (although the grounds sustained some damage during the storm). Also, just poke your head in my building lobby - it's gorgeous.

Wish I was downtown today!!

Morning peeps! Welcome YWIW!

Speaking of NJ...last night I was watching "Say Yes to the Dress" Whateveah Anyway, some skank from Chicago tried on this beatiful wedding gown with a fully beaded bodice and feathered bottom and tuned to her family and said "what do you think? I love it, but don;t want to look 'Jersey'" I wanted to slap her...hard!!!

Morning!!

Wow. 195 Broadway. I haven't heard that address in what seems like forever!! The original home for Golden Boy.
I hung out with Cheyenne Jackson in his dressing room waayyyyyy before he tickled D2.

Boobs, anyone who makes a Jersey joke should be slapped!

Girly, I think of you all the time when I walk through my building. You'll have to come visit some time. To my company's credit, they restored and have maintained the original executive board rooms. Absolutely beautiful. (And, for us, very 'Mad Men'...)

It's a beautiful building with a wonderful history.

I agree about the slapping. I hate the rep Jersey has around the country.

Addy, that's really cool. I was just looking at the history of Golden Boy. I was located in Basking Ridge complex when they moved it there from NY. It created quite a stir. It was situated in the curved driveway, at the Main entrance, and it's heiney faced the Main Security area. When they were putting it in place, employees were all lined up along the windows on all floors, watching. At one point, they had to, um, 'unman' him. Seems his privates were quite generous, and cars were slowing down to peek. LOL!! I have pics of him before they removed him from the Basking Ridge location to move him to this location.

Now, he's out in Texas, and that makes me very sad.

Cheers, Tink!

Girly, that is such a gorgeous statue. It's a shame it's been moved from the area. And, great story about the traffic slowing down! LOL.

The beautiful mahogany board room, where the first transatlantic call was made, is where I have a weekly meeting. I'm never jaded about it - I think it's wonderful. And thank goodness they didn't tear out all the old panelling and architectural detail to create some disaster of a modern space.

What a fascinating building! I love the architure site, too.

Slammed with work today - on the one day I need to get out of here early. Book-signing party for hubby tonight - a fancy-dancy cocktail party in Georgetown. We all know how much I love those. At some point I need to pack a bag for a trip up north.

I've been training a bunch of newbies today. Not on what I do, but on general company and client stuff. We've realized that I am one of the only people here anymore (with a good memory) to have knowledge on a lot of our legacy stuff. Someone then started to mention maybe me writing some documents on it all, and i was like, hmmmmm, no, job security will remain intact, thank you very much.

Morning peeps! Was there a weekend? It flew by! Thanks to the Framily for a fun filled lots of laughs Saturday. It's nice to leave our troubles in the lobby for those hours we spend together whether it's laying in a bath tub or sliding down a wall and sitting on the floor Can the Adults Please Smoke? 36 and Living Well

Or is that was?

G'morning?
Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)

Morning my dears!

Thank you again from a lovely evening!!

I feel fine, but I woke up with half a voice. Like a phone sex operator with a squeak.
