Alcohol notwithstanding, you met your match on Saturday, Moony.
And there were witnesses!

Obviously, he doesn't get enough to eat at home. He IS fast, though. I'll give him that (but not my noms).
Back from my first holiday shopping stint. NY has nothing on this bill!
Back to the grind tomorrow. But, I see a nap in my near future.
And, that beast is fast - speedy gone Max.

And yet another friend told HC that he looks like a young Sidney Poitier.

Happy St. Nicholas Day!
If we were kids in Europe, we'd be celebrating all day with gifts and sweets! But, sadly, we are not so we are at work with nary a gift or sweet in sight. Sigh.
You're my gift and you are sweet.

Awww...what a treat you are!
"In many places St. Nicholas is the main gift giver. His feast day, St. Nicholas Day, is December 6, which falls early in the Advent season. Some places he arrives in the middle of November and moves about the countryside, visiting schools and homes to find out if children have been good. Other places he comes in the night and finds carrots and hay for his horse or donkey along with children's wish lists. Small treats are left in shoes or stockings so the children will know he has come.
Where St. Nicholas is prominent, his day, not Christmas, is the primary gift giving day. Parties may be held on the eve, December 5th, and shoes or stockings left for St. Nicholas to fill during the night. Children will find treats of small gifts, fruit or nuts, and special Nicholas candies and cookies. St. Nicholas gifts are meant to be shared, not hoarded for oneself."
SHARED?!? Oh hell no. There's a reason we do Christmas here in the good ol' US of A.

It'S FREAKIN' FRIDAY, PEEPS!!!!!
Though, this weekend can't hold a holiday candle to last weekend. Sigh.
Ain't that the truth!
Good morning, peeps and peepers. Shopping MUST happen this weekend.

Same here. I've done no shopping at all.
I did food shopping finally last night, does that count? I have all my fixings to make cranberry bread now.
We have our company lunch today. This should be interesting. Place is supposed to be nice and booze will be provided so we better be able to go home after lol.
Happy Friday!

Our Christmas party is next Friday. It's been down-graded from a luncheon to punch and hors d'oeuvres. I'll skip it, which is my Christmas tradition.
