She does not seem like a smoker! I never really smoked except "the pot" occasionally 25 years ago!
She smokes like a stack.

Why does my body decide it does not want sleep? I went right from work, to the gym, and straight to the bar for a few hours training. I was physically done when I got home. Guess who stared at the ceiling for most of the night?
arghhhhhhh.
Sorry, crankypants this morning, reporting for duty.
Mornin.
Morning peeps! I'm on the phonecwith an IT and he sounds like he's havingan orgasm lol
He's talking to you, Boobs. What would you expect?
Thanks , Deet . His heavy breathing is driving me crazy.

Tink - too much night time stimulation (and not the kind Boobs is talking about). You'll need to carve out some quiet time so you can really undwind at the end of the day.
Tylenol PM works, too.
It's important to set aside quiet, meditative time before going to bed.
(says the woman who never, ever follows her own advice and brings 'to do' lists to bed that get updated throughout the night...)
IthinkIcanIthinkIcanIthinkIcanIthinkIcanIthinkIcan...chug chug chug went the little adgal...
Off I go. Happy 12/12/12!
The OTC stuff doesn't work anymore, not even Nyquil. it just makes me more groggy laying there. The only thing that has worked recently was Florida. From the first night I got there until the day before I flew home - out like a dead person. Do you think like a regular immedi-center doctor could help or prescribe something, or will they want to refer me to a specialist?
When I got home last night, I lounged on the couch with a small glass of red wine, christmas lights surrounding me, and a little daily show enlightenment. If I stayed there I think I would've just passed out, but nooooooo, those 11 steps to the bedroom woke me right back up.
I have similar problems - and it has been recommended to turn off the TV at least 30 minutes you go to bed, and remove the electronic stimulation as you do exactly what Addy recommends... and almost meditate to wind your mind and body down.
Get into a routine where this becomes a habit, and it should help you retrain your system.
It generally does seem to help (when I do it regularly, Addy is preaching to the choir).

See, Tink, you were more relaxed in Florida, hence - good night's sleep. You just need to be on vacation all year long!
I wonder if I can get the doctor to write a note for that - Dear company, Tink cannot come into work anymore.......
It's 11:11 on 12/12/12 for those of you who care.
according to your post it was only 11:10

Y, I agree that "electric stimulation" might keep one awake!
Saw Mormon last night - hilarious! Much fun!
Mooney - C19 comes home tonight after finals!!! Mrs. Brd has practically slaughtered the fatted calf in anticipation!
