My cold is getting worse. I think I may have to head home early. Bleh.
Feel better.

My secretary is hacking away like a TB victim! So disgusting!
My paternal grandfather died from TB when my Dad was about 12 or so.

That is just too odd! My grandfather died in 1939 of TB, my father was 12! He and my grandmother spent years in TB sanitariums while my father and siblings were shipped around to stay with various relatives! My grandmother recovered, but died at a young age of medical malpractice!

It's on the breakfast menu. I'll share.

This is one time that I'm so glad I'm not near any of you. I'm healthy and intend to stay that way all next week. That being said, I almost always catch something on a plane.

I am actually going to a party with people of my former theater career tonight - should be fun.
TB secretary is off today - thank god!
Happy Friday!
Nyquil did nothing for me last night. Didn't fall asleep until 4ish. Still hacking away
My boss has given me no problems working from home through this all. He'd rather I not come in and infect everyone else. My job has pretty much always been good with that. I have no health insurance because of their lazy ways, but no grief for working at home.
It's National Sketti Day! I want two of Boob's big meaty balls.

LOL!
Not a fan of Sketti or meaty balls or encased meats.
Hey, all.
I'll have some Sketti, just not today. It's too hot down here for anything but some cooling salad and some nice iced tea.
Okay, I have a huge apology for all of my dear Adults.
I have been away... in Florida, and I didn't tell anyone. I thought I would be just so clever on December 8 and post a 'Hey, guess where I am' message. Unfortunately, my brilliant plans were foiled by a week-long internet outage just before I was to depart. So, I couldn't synch my ipad, I couldn't log in to this site on the hotel computer and I was miffed. I really, really wanted to send holiday love and greetings and best wishes for the New Year from the Mouse House. So, I must apologise and give you all a belated hug.
*HUG*
That would have been such fun, Hep. But, hope you had a wonderful, wonderful trip!
Hope your new year is off to a great start. And... let us know if you ever plan a trip to New York!
Big hugs and happy happy!
Morning peeps! It's been a crazy Monday morning trying to get all the kids settled. One runs outside they all run outside. Then they play the "I'm not coming back in game" Joop has been acting very strange the past couple of days and so a trip to the vet may be in my future tonight. When she wouldn't eat this morning she told me something is wrong. Although she did take the treat.
I hope this day finds you all well XOXOXOXO

HEP WAS IN THE US?!? So close and yet so far....
'Morning, all! Restful weekend and anticipating a very busy week. Friday night is our Winter Dance, followed by admissions interviews throughout Saturday. Good thing I'm well rested! The moonchild is heading to NYC for a wedding at the end of the week. Wish I could tag along!
Morning.
I'm very worried about The Bug. If you need help with the vet trip, let me know.

Morning!
Back to the grind. I've actually missed being at my desk, etc. Of course this sentiment will be gone by 9am the latest I'm sure.
G'morning. Congestion is nearly gone, I can hear again!
HEP! Next time give us some notice and maybe we can have a Framily trip to Disney World. Nevertheless I hope you had a magical time.
As for magical times, we went to see DROOD yesterday. Honestly I was never that big a fan of the original and this production didn't convert me although it was a lot of fun. What made yesterday magical is we had a "DROOD Reunion" with some of the cast from the production I directed (gulp) 25 years ago. My Drood, Jasper, Puffer and Crisparkle were all there and it was just so much fun to reconnect. Lots of laughs at intermission when Puffer and I both said at the same time we had forgotten most of the show. Everyone looked great and so many memories came flooding back. I still don't remember much about the production itself except for horrifying/exhilarating night I had to go on as Bazzard with only a few hours to learn the role and all those various endings.
Got my fingers crossed for Joop, Boobs. Poor little thing.
Sending good thoughts for Joop.
Quiet weekend. A bit more urban hiking (or more trail walking). Work is back in full force now. I got to get my head back in the game.
Hep, I hope Florida treated you well!
Best wishes for the New Year to everyone.
