Moony, I'm so glad I'm on your good side.
Right?
Speaking of researching, I only found out today the Ritz in Paris has been closed since August for renovations and doesn't reopen until 2014. I've been on the Bar Hemingway page several times since the spring and nothing -- I went this morning to check a few things about the pricing of the drinks (exorbitant as I recall) and voila! There it was: the bar closed in April, the hotel in August! Hmmm. REWRITE.

Unless you move the action to the future....
Yeah, by the time this sees any kind of staging...
It's kind of fun, though, to rethink a few things anyway.
Hope you feel better soon, YWiW. I still have a slight cough, but the congestion in my ears has pretty much gone away and most of my hearing has returned (except for certain things J2 says...)

El Tico and I joined the same month.
Sang at a funeral this morning, 63 bladder cancer - lovely man!
Good morning! All day meeting. Ta.
Morning peeps! Nasty out there today. Please be safe all my East coast friends who are driving. The black ice sneaks up on you.
Safe going for me today. Whew!!

A little messy out still but most people drove like non lunatics so got in just fine.
G'morning.
Getting back to normal here. Whatever that is.

Same here. First day back at work, though I came in an hour late and will leave early. I think hubby may be coming down with it now, though. By the way - don't eat the cows' cake - Harris has the flu.
Wasn't gonna.
But the fine folk at Dovetail made a cake for me to take home. I'd offer you a piece, but, you know...
It was delicious.

Luckily for you, my appetite has not returned yet. You'll live to celebrate another year.
Going back to the office as well today. Same plan as Moony, without the hubby. I don't think Zander counts.
It is finally warming up here. It was down to the 30's at night, which is cold by our standards.
Happy Hump Day Adults.

Please, that's cold by anyone's standards. Except maybe a Swede or two.
Moony:
Mom's still in hospital and looks like at least another night there. Blood infection. fun. but at least she got pancakes this morning.
30's aren't too bad. I think I've worn my coat twice this season and one of the times was for Deet's soiree.
Yesterday my friend in CA posted a youtube of clips of the CA newcasts regarding the cold. Her friends/family in CO, MI, PA and here really had a field day with the comments.
Ugh, Tink.

Tink - so sorry to hear that. Pancakes are a great cure-all, though.
Note to self - stop googling things. WebMD & all never help you in these situations. Thank you for blatantly pointing out the high mortality rate every other sentence. I didn't see it the first time.
WebMD is a dangerous place.
Good Morning everyone. Looks to be the great ol' crowd today as it was not too long ago.
Missed you all.

MT - WedMD has nearly caused a divorce here! Mrs. Brd has diagnosed herself with cancer about 5 times in the last few years!
Happy Humping Day! No flu at the office or home!
No flu, crossing my fingers.
Brd, glad to see you're doing well.
Oh, Bouche.
Are you suffering from MPD?
Excuse me?
