And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. You know what bugs the sh!t out of me? Emails from colleagues requesting I come to department meetings to support them and vote for their tenure, their reappointment, their promotions, their proposals, etc...

Always from the same "colleagues" who were sooooo sorry they weren't able to make the meetings where they were voting on my getting a full-time line. They would have voted for me, of course, but it was snowing, it was raining, it was sunny, it was cloudy, it was Monday...

Fvck you all.

D2 - I got a very stern and threatening e-mail on Friday from a VP about my lack of response to his question (stupid stupid question that wasn't even really my role to answer). I was about to send back a picture of the casket and copy/paste my out of office, but somehow bit my tongue and instead forwarded it to a coworker to handle. When I walk in today, it's like nothing happened. I need to get out.

Morning peeps! Day 2 of vacation. Up early with all the banging going on in my house starting at 8:30. Hopefully they'll finish today. They've knocked pictures off the walls with all their banging.

Off to the accountant today. Hopefully I'll make it to the post office too and get this box finally in the mail. My goal for tomorrow is stay in all day and get things done around the house.

Morning Adults. Another early 8AM meeting, and then Monday, a 5:45 flight to Iowa. Competency is a terrible trait in corporate america. You get discovered, and you never, ever, get away...

Privacy, HIPPA/HITECH, IT Contracts, Cloud computing, International sales and solicitation rules, Security/Data Breach, Policyholder Services, Regulatory Issues, and whatever else folks don't quite know what to do with - my freaking plate is full. I am at overload, and at this point just want to stare at my computer monitor and drool.

I shall grit my teeth, go to that meeting tomorrow, vote for the person's promotion, and count the minutes until I am fully vested in the pension program. I shall then buy back the years I was not a part of the program -- resulting in a higher pension payout -- smile, say goodbye and good riddance, and jet out of there like Max in pursuit of Moony's cake.
