Our pension is self-funded, so another 25 and I will be fine!
Have a good weekend all!
Hey, Jose!
It's the Labour Day long weekend down here. This end of town is peaceful. The weather, sunny and warm. Anyone for a picnic?

Lordy, Hep, "sunny and warm" seems like a dream.
Happy Labour Day!!
Love the Viking, Moony!

Thanks! Although I'm French Canadian, recent DNA tests revealed that, genetically, I'm 68% Scandinavian. Seems that most of my "deep ancesters" were Viking warriors who settled in Normandy and Brittany - areas where my tracable ancesters lived. I'm trying to embrace my new-found heritage. I'm also looking for a family discount at IKEA.
Don't get the meatballs at IKEA, Moony.
Unless you like horsemeat. I wonder, do they use Norse Horse?
Ooooops! I had the meatballs, D2.
I had never been to IKEA until about two weeks ago. My part-time job took me to our NJ office and of the closest places to eat lunch was the IKEA near Newark Airport. Everyone in my group said, "get the meatballs," everyone did.

I hate kids.
I hate kids in my apartment on a Sunday morning.
And I hate husbands who invite them in when I'm stuck in an interminable department meeting on a Saturday, therefore not at home to run interference.
And I hate I can't post that on Facebook because too many of my "friends" know the guilty parties.
I hate this Saturday night/Sunday morning turn around. Its made worse with the time change. UGH.
Det, I'm sending you a whip and chair for kid wrangling purposes and a year's supply of aspirin for the inevitable headache.
Moony, good luck with the search and the meatball discount. I come from Viking stock, too. My ancestors were warrior leaders who settled in the north of England in what is now Derbyshire and Cheshire. That was the ninth century - a little while ago. I don't think that Ikea discount is still available to me. We do have the Swedish Chef, though. 'Bork, bork, bork!'
Morning peeps! I hope y'all doing better with this time change thingy.

Sickie-poo? So sorry tp hear that!
With this time change, I am now back to driving to work in the dark. Ugh.
Need to find some coffee....
G'morning.
It's mornin' here, too.
That's right, I can't sleep. The night air is hot and still and even though the perfume of exotic flowers may waft in through an open window, it is too nasty to sleep. So, here I am.
Feel better, Somms.
Moons, please pull over before you pour the coffee.

Oh, Hep, I've been in the office for hours now. I had a cup at home, but I hadn't gotten my "office cup o' joe" yet. And when I did - there were brownies there! Yee-haw!
Ooh, brownies!
Spent the weekend with Vics vapor rub and in bed trying to finally kick this cold. This sucker is stubborn. And, now, an 8AM meeting the Monday after the time change - somebody hates me.
Happy Monday Adults.

Time change sucks! Just got in at 9:30!
Crappy Monday indeed!
Hey Hep & YWiW!
Hep, at least you have the perfume of exotic flowers occasionally wafting in through an open window. We don't have that luxury with the heat and humidity of a New York summer.
But there is more than a hint of spring here today, despite the overcast skies. Rain tomorrow, I've heard, but today is new shoe weather!
Hello beloved adults! Miss you!
Things are nuts, two weeks from opening Hen Night and three weeks before the start of The Temperamentals rehearsals. That and the new job is awesome, which also means it keeps me super busy during the day.
Did I mention that we already reserved the vacation house for next January?
G'morning.
'lo.
I'm working in the middle of a construction site. They're redoing the room I'm in, and they've got half of it blocked off with heavy duty plastic, from ceiling to floors, but, of course, that doesn't block off the noise. Supposedly, the noisiest times will be between 6 and 8. Mind you, they have to run crap through the ceiling, so they're also working outside of the curtained off area. When that section's done, we have to move, and they're going to do our section. Then we have to move back. UGH!!
