Good morning back at ya! Happy Friday!
Happy Friday!
G'morning.
Max walked and fed, bed made, and 3 pages written and it's not even 8:30?
Who is this person and what has he done with me?
ETA: So KINKY BOOTS got fairly good reviews and all the contemptuous nay-sayers on the main board are imploding. Good times. Good material.
Morning peeps! I'm so happy for my friend John. His first Broadway producing job and they got some good reviews. I.will.not.read.the.main.board.
Adding that show to my list!
Sleeping in this morning was such a luxury... am heading off to pick out the marble slab for my counters and then driving up to CT for a reunion weekend - my bffs from jr. high/high school. Should be fun!

Good review in this morning's Washington Post, as well (he liked the score, not so much the book). Same review tagged on a paragraph on Cinderella - rewrite is not so good.
Last day of arriving at work at 9:30am. Reality stikes with a vengence on Monday morning. Savoring the peace and quiet for now.
Enjoy the day, Moony!
Am loving watching Liza on the Today Show this morning.
I have a very special rose going in my garden this year.

To help celebrate the KINKY BOOTS opening last night we watched the film on which it's based entitled KINKY BOOTS (surprise!).
What a wonderful enjoyable feel-good movie it is. The actor who portrays Lola on film is nothing short of terrific, and the opening quite something. The fiancé of the lead character, Charlie, is played by the same actress who was on Broadway in 1 MAN, TWO GUVNORS--Jemima Rooper (the sister in the black dress).
Catch the film if you can. Happy Friday all!

Morning peeps! Jose, glad you liked the movie, now go see the musical!
I hope everyone's weekend was as wonderful as mine. Saturday was a beautiful day in the City with HC & Poddie. Had a wonderful dinner at yet another great restaurant (441/2). Sister to 44 & X. A few doors down right on 10th Ave. now the 2nd time I've eaten there. Of course I will continue to frequent it.
Now everyone start purchasing your tickets to PIPPIN. It is so much fun! Andrea Martin is a showstopper! Matthew James Thomas is perfect as Pippin and Patina Miller makes you fall in love with her raw talent. This reminds us what theatre is all about.
Happy morning, y'all.
I love poddie weekends! Get thee to the Pippin.

Next time should splurge and go to 45!
Glad to hear that you all loved Pippen. I really need to see it.
Back to ye old grindstone.....gumble, grumble.
BTW Mooney, that rose is gorgeous! Like you xo
Just found out I'm going to an 80's themed Tricky Tray Saturday. If you dress appropriately, you get an extra sheet of tickets. Now, if it was 60's/70's themed, I'd be all set, dammit!!

C'mon I know you still have your "Flashdance" outfit in the basement.
Just do a "Jersey Jack-up" and you're all set. (evil grin)
G'morning
Girly, just bedazzle a sweatshirt and you'll be fine.
Speaking of 80s fashion, we were in Brooks Brothers yesterday. On our way up to the 4th floor (Sports Jackets, Dress Slacks) the elevator stopped on the 2nd floor -- the women's department. We got a glimpse of some of their "new" fashions. I turned to Joe and quipped "Ah yes. the Bea Arthur collection."
Boobs, you got a bedazzler in that garage??

I'm sure I have one in the game closest outside the cat room
I just did a Google search on 80's fashion images, and yeah...none of that's happening. I don't need an extra sheet of tickets that badly.

Wouldn't a polo shirt and topsiders also suffice?
Happy Monday Adults!
Lovely, quiet weekend here at casa YWiW.
