My friend went into labor this morning and I went to stay with her until the ambulance arrived. I offered to drive her to the hospital and have her husband meet us, but 20 minutes after her water breaking, she thought an ambulance was better. I thought calling the paramedics was a bit silly. I mean, these things take time. We had time, right? Exactly one hour after she called me, we were standing on the street and she was gripping the back of the ambulance when her son made his grand entrance. My heart still hasn't calmed down.

Is it wrong that even though I read Deet's post twice, I just assumed he was referring to Boobs and not SOMMS - but it being SOMMS explains why Girly would have to grow a foot!
I had a weird dream last night, but it was tame compared to Deet's.

I judged the senior's work this morning. Better than last year but knowing all the players: still disappointing. Oh well. There's always next year, the students I have currently.

G'morning
The last scene in Act One of GODDESS OF THE HUNT was read last night and it killed. The laughs were non-stop and the comments/feedback after was the kind I dream about getting.
Interesting that the Bride-to-be never checked in yesterday.

'Morning!
Massive chaos broke out here yesterday and by the end of the day the Junior class was smaller by four. Dealing with the situation put me way behind in "normal" tasks so I start today day behind already. Also, FIOS box is broken at home, so no internet or landline and the coffee maker at work is on the ftritz. On the other hand, there were no explosions and no one died or was maimed. Perspective is a beautiful thing.
