Posted: 3/3/15 at 1:19pmHappy Tuesday Adults. We are pretty much back to normal weather patterns here - so I will be quiet. Mom's BD today, and waiting to hear back from the vet about some issues with my wee one (who is older, but smaller). And dealing with the crazies at work. My screen name is very apt right about now.

No headdress...I was very demure, almost nunnish...
But I had no intention on wearing a Habit!

You should have worn your crown. I had it adjusted for the horns to fit through.

Deet needs to write the Malibu Rum Favorite Things song IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!
And THAT is going to be one adorable puppet show!! Though it would be interesting seeing Sparrow reign in his antics!
PFFT to Boobs and thorny crowns!

Seen on the Washington Post weather website today:
Hail hits Huntington Beach and Californians promptly freak out.
Meanwhile, eyes roll in the Northeast.

Posted: 3/4/15 at 8:33amIt's going up to 50 here today, then an arctic freeze comes in with 5-10 inches of snow tomorrow. We just can't catch a break. My only hope is that either the storm delays until Friday, or is so bad that schools are closed on Friday because we have a huge, pain in the ass dance here Friday night that I would just as soon cancel.

We had snow in Burbank a few years ago, and that was another "WHAAAATTTT" moment. We just don't see that stuff at our elevation and living in a quasi-desert.
Happy Hump Day.

Has anyone else watched Secret & Lies? I want to punch Juliette Lewis in her face for many reasons

Posted: 3/4/15 at 12:28pmNote to Adults - Benihana is one of Dante's circle of hell. It is where mom went for her birthday dinner last night. It is weird feeling like you are at a tourist trap while dining in your home town.

Posted: 3/4/15 at 12:51pmAre there still Benihana's around? I remember those back in the 70s. I think they all closed in the DC area. We send our tourists to Cheesecake Factory.

Between the kids yelling, the grills clanking and the tambourines, I needed a wee bit of Sake... Mom was happy and that is all that really matters.
There are a few in the West LA area. Go figure.
I have been to other Japanese restaurants with a similar style, but at a significantly lower decibel!

Posted: 3/4/15 at 1:11pmMy CA bestie's daughter hostessed in one up until a year or so ago. Now she works in Nordstrom's office on Fashion Island, I believe. There's one in Edison, about 5 miles from me. I've never been, but those places amuse me.

Posted: 3/4/15 at 1:14pmI went to Benihana's once on a date (yes, in the 70s). I got sick afterwards because they cook the chicken and beef on the same grill they cook the shrimp. I'm deathly allergic to shrimp, so......
