Go figure. They close when it's snowing and the roads aren't too bad and open when the roads are a sheet of ice. Thank God HC convinced them to allow him to work from home today being he is without a car. he had to take 3 trains and a taxi to get to his office yesterday.

So the older son next door is being a jackass. All day yesterday, I heard him yelling at his mother that he wasn't going out with the snowblower until the snow finally stopped. They had a big blow out last night, with him screaming loudly after it had stopped. They just tell me to shovel all around my truck cause they won't go close to it, and they'll do the rest with the blower. So all four times I went out there yesterday, that's what I did. Around the truck, about a foot and a half cleared. He hasn't gotten out there at all today, and the younger son is out there shoveling what the older one usually snowblows. If I had known he was going to be a jerk, I would've shoveled all the crap in front of my truck, when it was easy to just push to the side. I just gave the other one some money to do the snow in front of mine when he's done getting his mother's car out.

HC got home before me last night so he started shoveling my car out because he wanted to surprise me and meet me at the bus. He said while he was shoveling my neighbor 2 doors came down the street plowing the side walk and started helping with the driveway and then disappeared. HC went to his house and said, Thank You for helping, but you didn't have to do that. I really appreciate it. And gave the guy some money. He a nice guy and shares his name with HC I never met the wife or baby yet.
