Who knew religion was so exhausting?
Grabbing a quick cup of coffee (OK, and a muffin) before we go into our all day meeting/workshop. I hate these things. The facilitator was setting up the "play stations" this morning - rubber balls, play dough, puzzle pieces, etc. Being one-handed, this will be a non starter for me.

Moony, ask them where the handicap section is....perhaps they'll send you home

Morning.
Low key weekend for us. Tomorrow I start cleaning out Mom's house... fun. And then low key rest of the day as Mr. Happy has to be on the road early for a tough Mudder in Vermont on Sunday. I, in turn, have my cousin's bridal shower. I begged that he switch places with me.

Happy Friday - about to hit the road for the NorCal WeddingPalooza.
My best friends from law school are getting married after being together for 25 years, and they rented out a state park for the festivities. No heels and ties for this crowd! Hiking, swimming, relaxing and just some fun. Irene and Guy are great people, it is nice to celebrate with good folks! And, I am considered "very conservative" on their spectrum of friends, so these trips are ALWAYS educational.
Have a great weekend Adults!

Why can't my weddings this year be like the one YWIW is going to?????? Have a blast!
Boobs - pretty much lol. This one is on Mt Snow and he is actually upset this year that they don't go up as high elevation wise as they did last year. oh and did I mention they are carrying 35-40lb backpacks as well? crazy man! I've got the icy hot and pain meds ready.

Posted: 5/30/14 at 9:35amWell, I lasted exactly one hour. Might just be my personal best. They're all playing some sort of ice breaker game now. I have no patience for game-playing. Just give me the info and let me get back to work.

Tinky, I wish I had Mr. Happy's energy. I did my number last night and needed to rest afterwards. Mind you it hasn't been blocked yet.
*scratches Moony's name off of game night list*

Posted: 5/30/14 at 10:56amMoony, I have to suffer through one of those "activity" driven sessions on Monday. But, it's at the Four Seasons and it's FREE (lunch and cocktail hour)!!! Can I borrow your sling for the day?

I just watched the live stream of my niece graduating college! She graduated with the Honors Medal with Distinction (the highest her school awards).
I used my iPhone to video the stream of her crossing the stage. I think I'll replay that moment many times. So proud.
Happy Friday to all.

Congrats to Addy Niece!
C16 is now half way through high school and a licensed driver - he is very cautious so less worries!
Stunning day here - sunny and mild!
Y - private practice sucks sometimes! A/R is record high - bank account record low!!!

Addy - awwwww, congrats!!! So great technology has provided us with opportunities to witness things like that!
I somehow went from having no prospects, to having two different job interviews next week with their CEOs. Weird. Awesome but weird. We shall see.

Oh, we are at the lowest point for cashflow in decades. A/R very high! SLOW PAYERS!!!!!
Good luck! Mrs. Brd wants a new job, but she has not skillset or training other than flowers and retail!

Go Tink Go. Long drive but got here by 1, provided some elbow grease, and have now checked into my hotel. There were dorm style rooms available at the campsite, but thanks but no thanks. After over 20 years of living alone, dorm like conditions don't thrill me. It's like to come back to your own bed your own bathroom and your own bathtub. Perhaps I have more in common with Deet than I thought!
Congrats Auntie Addy!

Y, no dorm living for me. And camping is a Holiday Inn with no bar!
Gorgeous weather here. At the office to catch up after the funeral lost time. Mrs Brd and I have walked 18 miles in the last week and will do 5 this afternoon at a pretty good clip!

Happy Monday Adults. Back to the homestead for a week. Yay!
Boobs, I have a feeling the tour got cancelled because they got wind of your production and could not stand the competition!
ETA: Edited to fixed a typo caused by too much damn driving.

Morning Tinky! Rehearsals are going well. I told the director though that he has to stop changing blocking. I'm old and am lucky to remember anything. Which I will apologize right now for the Temple scene being no matter how hard I try I just can't remember all the words. Also God bless Jesus if he survives the leper scene. We hung some lights. It's such limited space, so there's only so much we can do. Plus a lot of the old ladies get upset if you move anything or hang anything in the church. I wish we had designated space else where. Some things the lighting designer wanted to do were denied. Sad being they really would work much better with the show. They're still trying to figure out how to hang Judas and crucify Jesus. The joys of live theatre in a church!

Good grief - you need a fundraiser to build yourselves a theatre!
'Morning, all! Busy weekend, followed by busy Monday. Gorgeous day outside, though (the whole weekend was spectacular).
