So sad that Mooney lost her parole bid! She will be missed!

Very busy humping day! Strange July - usually slow, but I am happily swamped!

Hi adults, miss you all.
Old people - Mrs. Brd and I saw War Paint with LuPone and Ebersole! What a treat to see these two great divas! We loved it. Busy weekend with C21 birthday bash - cousins and friends from college in town. 15 of us crammed in our toy house this weekend - much fun!
Birthday bash sounds fun! Happy happy to C21!
Hubby is on vacation this week and next, back to work August 1st. Staying home, relaxing. He and Eric are enjoying swimming when weather (and apt pool maintenance here) allow, as well as their daily walks. I have barely stepped foot outside since we got home from fast food dining and grocery shopping Friday night. So nice to not have to drive anywhere and not have to get up at 4:55 AM. Not good for a night owl like me. Sure I'll venture out at some point before 8/1!

Hilarious - home bound until 8/1! How old is your son?
Oppressive heat here today. I am not that sensitive to heat, but walking back from Court the air was thick!
brd, Eric is 27. My baby! I don't know where the time goes.
Mystery here. Woke up at 7AM...Small-medium clear poodle of water in closet, outside bathroom door, between washer and dryer. Was not there around midnight last night. [msg edited for "blah blah blah;" typo fixed]

Any exposed pipes that could be sweating? We had that in Kansas.
[deleted because: too long & boring & scroll-y]
Happy Saturday!
Update (EDITED). Prob was coming from AC condenser pipe leaking; had been flowing from AC closet under floor into laundry room.
Where is everybody? Did I run everyone off / did I kill the thread?

Most are in prison. I am still here!
I cannot speak for everyone, but since they did some updates to the site, I get a site blocker message that discourages me from visiting as often as I did before.
I also think we are all just lurking for the summer!

Hard for Mooney - I read on her prison blog that her roommate only watches ESPN2.
C18 goes off to college in less then two weeks!
Howdy, fellow adults!
brd, I hope C18 has a blast at college! (And studies hard too, of course! ha ha) Are they looking forward to the experience?
Weirdness: Received 106" STOP/SLOW sign w/ pole from Amazon yesterday, never ordered. 3rd party seller doesn't want it returned directly; Amazon can find no record of it. Never charged for it. Amazon told me to keep/donate/dispose.
I've received a duplicate order in the past from Amazon, which they told me to just keep. This is first time I've gotten something that I didn't order at all.
UPDATE: ended up disposing of it, little by little, or rather, hubby did. I realized this morning that's it's completely gone.
Happy Birthday, Girlie!!!
Happy Weekend!
This is gonna sound like an ad, but I just got my first Swiffer (I guess it's the basic one), and it is just about the best thing ever. I've only used the dry pads so far. Can't believe what all it caught off my nasty floors! (New apt has carpet in the bedrooms only.)
Well that's about all the latest excitement in my life!

Back from excellent family vacation in DC. Boyfriends had not seen sites, so we toured monuments, museums, Arlington, Great Falls, vineyards, - much fun! C18 leaves this wekend for college!
You didn't connect with Moony?

Visited her in prison!
I am busily baking a cake with a file ... I hope she like Devil's Food cake.
Oh, to be back with my dear adults. It has been a crazy month. We have been auditing the catalogue in contemplation of the next valuation of the Collection. We had three weeks blocked out for the task. It took six! All the while, my Mom was recuperating from two eye operations. So, I can safely say that days now run with 28 hours instead of stock-standard 24 ... or perhaps it just seems that way!
The perfume of blossom is on the breeze, at last. Spring is not far away and with it comes footy finals and visits to ballet and art museum. Yay! Joy abounding!
