Keep pushing for action, Tink.
ok... i put in my two weeks notice.
Morning peeps!
Q, I am so sorry for your loss. *hugs*
Moony...that is amazing that Buddy called you! Too bad you didn't pick up the phone and yell at him about the mug. I'm sure he would have thrown a cake at someone for that!
Middy...did they try to counter offer with $$$ ?
BTW...did everyone see my new sig? I read that this morning and LMAO!!!

Morning.
I'm not a person who springs into full consciousness when I wake up, and I walked around for a couple of minutes looking for Christy before I remembered why I couldn't find her. Not a good way to start my day
Thanks for the hugs and good thoughts, everyone - it helps.

Q, I am so sorry! These crazy animals become part of our daily routine and even our persona! I hope that time heals!

Q, I feel so badly for you both.
Boobs - he called while I watching TV (Cake Boss!) in the basement while walking on the treadmill (thanks to eating too many pastries). I didn't hear the cellphone, which was in my coat pocket upstairs. The upside, though, is that i now have this hysterical voicemail message to share with others. MWAH!
Deet - Hmmm...they seems to be tiny little creatures. This could be a dealbreaker for this wedding.
A little slow on the uptake, but for Q and TinMan:
The Rainbow Brige
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
Moony, I am so glad that Buddy left you something to make you and others smile. That Buddy can be a swell guy sometimes.

From the "BTW" department:
1) Guess who NOW wants to come up to NYC next time I visit? I need to stop telling stories about what a great time I have.
2) I hope everyone likes their current avs, because it seems you can't upload a new one. I've been trying for 2 days.
If that was Mary's man standing next to her last night, I hope he shows up on the show some more.

I know! I totally agree. Good episode!
People are getting on my last nerve. It's not gonna be pretty around here very shortly.
Moony, next time bring her!
And is it just me or did the board get narrower and the column to the right get wider?
OY!!

The thread is just thinner thanks to our New Year diets?
And yes, BWG all are on my nerves. The pleasant C11 could have been murdered for simply not deciding what he wanted for breakfast this morning!
Uh oh. I just had a mini-explosion here. It wasn't pretty.
Now was Moony talking about the hubby or daughter? If daughter, of course bring her. If hubby, well then we can't dance and hold each other like we do....that would make me sad.
I just got my 2007 and 2008 bill from my accountant...I think I have to call for an ambulance. She was holding it for as long as she could being she knows my financial status better than anyone. Lukcily, she's a friend and said that I can pay whenever and the easiest way for me. Damn IRS is all I have to say!!!
BTW...thanks Moony for now getting me watching the cake boss. Damn Cablevision for getting rid of my Food and HGTV betworks!!!
Ooh. Sorry, BD!
Get me the F*CK out of here!!
I need to win the lottery. And soon. I'm not sure how much more of this b.s. I can take.

"Damn Cablevision for getting rid of my Food and HGTV betworks!!!"
I said before, and I'll say again, I honestly think that would give the TinMan a stroke!
I purposely bought cable for the Food Network. If DirecTV cut it, heads would roll.
