I second brd on that.
Ended up with white wine - not a great wine, but next time I go out with these people, I think we're going to a "BYO Wine", which will be good.

Morning peeps!
I don't know if you've paid attention to the Barb White stuff going on on Facebook, but for some reason it's really become important for me to help slap that bitch down. This is my response to a certain Dean Chapin, who supports the bigoted Minnesotan homophobe, when he told people commenting on her fan page to "Get a life, trolls:"
Dean - we have a life. A life that people like Barb (and apparently you, too) are trying to diminish, demean and negate. Think about that. If you can.
Please go to her fan page and tell her off.
Mornin'
and, for Girly:
I love it when D2's on a mission!!! :) I will check it out when i get home. Only sucky part about iphone facebook, I cant search for people/friend them.
Morning peeps.
Deet, I'll pick you up some valium when I am in Thailand

Thanks DF! I was having technical difficulties trying to change it before.
I don't need valium, Boobs. I need for people like Barb Davis White to shut the **** up.
And so, might I add, do you.
I agree Deet...I just don't want you getting yourself all stressed and sick over some A$$HOLE.
No worries, Boobs! I'm actually having fun with this. I haven't been so energized by something in a long time, and I'm enjoying the charge it's giving me.
TAKE THE BITCH DOWN!
DUMBO!?! Really? DUMBO!?!
Okay, Boobs, NOW I need the valium!!!
I frankly don't want to use my phone minutes up on that FB page, so it'll have to wait until later for me to check out.
Did someone call you DUMBO??!!

LOL, Girly! No, I'm referring to the article about DUMBO possibly being the next Disney on Broadway show.
REALLY??? DUMBO??? I don't even really like the movie. What about Alladin...now that could be fun!
OH! I didn't even see that up there. I thought someone had replied to you on that page calling you that! Sorry!!

I think Alladin would be a great idea!!! I would so see that!
I wonder if they could convince Robin Williams recreate his role as the Genie? Now that would be worth seeing!
I can't stand him.
ETA: I don't know what I was watching with him on it, and he was the only one laughing at himself. Most of what he was saying wasn't the least bit funny. Never stops me from watching Mrs. Doubtfire or The Birdcage whenever I come across them. Love both those movies.

While I like his funnier movies - two of my favorites that feature him - Dead Poets Society and Good Will Hunting.
I don't think I've ever seen either of those.

I loved "Dead Poet's Society" when I saw it in it's initial release, but I have never seen it again for some reason.
"Good Will Hunting" on the other hand - meh. I know most people loved it, but I was bored silly.
I did see an hour-long stage version of ALADDIN at Disneyland a few years ago. It was one of those theme park tab shows and it wasn't very good but it had spectacular effects. I remember thinking it could have been so much better if it had been fully developed. All the elements for a fun musical are already there.
And again I say:
DUMBO!?! Really!?! DUMBO!?!

"Aladdin" is still playing at the Hyperion Theater in Disney's California Adventure. It's been tightened to 40 minutes, and continues to pack the theater after running for over three years. The original idea was to expand it into a full-length show, but it's success at this level has kept it where it's at.
